Regarding RF and the message that supposedly came from RG saying "i love you, we'll work this out later.....", I have friends that are just friends (not romantic) that say "I love you" to me on occasion, and I also say it to them. It means nothing about our romantic history or future, sexual life, etc.

I suspect RF has taken that line from RG and run with it to appear the "grieving widow" and make himself a sympathetic character in this story - poised to make $$$ off pictures, interviews, etc.

I don't trust the guy, and find it very telling that he gave her clothes and cats to RG's brother within a couple days of her disappearance. Huh? He wanted to spend his life with her, but when she was gone a couple days he erases her physical history with him and goes on a press tour? Hmm.

I agree.

He rubs me the wrong way. He's on the FB page leaving comments ... who would be doing that at this time if they are distraught? Who would be traveling to NY and everywhere else at a time like this. My rear end would be on a plane to Aruba not sitting on NG or some other tv show.

It's very strange and I feel that her family is not keeping him in the loop. I just have a gut feeling about that and he did mention that on NG the other night.

Just ready an article that the mother and daughter team that was on NG this week saying that GG wanted to take them to Aruba may have been fabricating the story to further their own modeling careers. The article stated that the mother gave her daughter permission to pose half nude at the age of 14 and had photos of the mother posing for a modeling agency.

What would make a mother act this way?

That woman ought to realize that that story, being heard by the family members of this missing woman, would add to their worry and distress.

What a piece of work!

Do you have a link to the article? CE was on Judge Janine tonight. She is also looking for a Ghost Writer to write a book. She is <modsnip>The daughter is on a site where she is scantily clad, the site says the models are ages 16 & 17 and have posed with parental consent.

If you didn't want to explain everything again to someone who is probably unaware of what had transpired on the island, you might want to avoid the situation by lying, I've mentioned this before. It doesn't necessarily mean he is a killer?

True.

However, would you lie about that if the person you traveled with was missing? I know I would not lie about something like that, especially being in another country. Perhaps it was a wrong decision on his part but normal people wouldn't have been leaving and wouldn't have been lying about it.

You would think that the Aruban authorities would have asked him not to leave the island. Apparently, they didn't.

I wasn't sure if I was allowed to post it. I will find it and post it. <modsnip>

Certainly quite suspicious, but also one that could be explained away in court just like I have?

You're right you would think the ALE would have asked him to stay on the island, it makes you wonder if they're clutching at straws now?

I think trying to cash-in, or at least enquire about the policy is more of a concern, esp only two days after she vanished - If he was just a business associate of hers perhaps it 'might' be considered OK to do that, but 'it', it being RG's & GVG's relationship as has been reported by RG's friend CJ that it was more than that, and also by RF along similar lines.

I read that he inquired (of American Express) if it would cover the cost of the search efforts ... they never really said he asked if he could get the money just that he inquired about payment for the search efforts. It's odd they have not said who the beneficiary of Robyn's policy was. They have not once said he was the beneficiary. I have been waiting for them to say it.

I also find it odd that he'd name his mother and not his 3 kids as his beneficiary. It's all strange with twists and turns.

Then you have the hometown b/f running all over the place giving interviews. Leaving messages on FB he's in NY spreading the word. I find it nutz.

Thanks! I saw that one the other day. I've been looking for other articles, but cannot find any.

There is a still shot of the duo during an interview where they are both smiling; what is to smile about in this situation?

You're welcome.

There is NO new news. I search everyday a couple times. There is no news coming out of Aruba that we have not already heard. I pray that they ARE building some kind of case. The more time that goes by the worse scenario.

Not so odd, IMO. It does not seem to be an amicable relationship between GG and the Ex-wife. The children are minors, correct? If they were the beneficiaries, that would give mom the control of the money.

With his mother as the beneficiary, the Ex-Wife would need to go to GG's mother or file a suit, either option is not as easy if the children were the beneficiary.

I have some theories based on the people closer to home, but I'm not going into details as it would go against the rules here, however those theories would go against the razor if you get my understanding. The razor being Occam's, not anything to do with hair ;) or perhaps...

That's true. There's a bitter relationship there. I am in Maryland by the way and the news here is not reporting much more than anywhere else.

He had a huge house tho and I find it hard to believe that a person who runs an employment agency would be able to afford a 1.3 million dollar home, complete with video cameras inside and outside.

My gut tells me the FBI is going to find somethings on his personal computers from the house and on the video cameras inside the home that is going to tell us what kind of monster this dude really was. He is a narcisist (sp?) with no respect for women.

The first thing I did was look him up on Maryland Case Search ... told me he is domestic violence waiting to happen. Case Search ... if she had done that, maybe she'd have a different picture of what kind of person he was.

I happen to know 2 VERY wealthy men who are joint owners of a Manpower Professional office. They easily BOTH own homes which cost that much. Big, big bucks, and they are in a small midwestern town, not the much more populated (and expensive) east coast. They are owners, not merely managers of the business. Not sure if Mr. Giordano is an owner???

It was reported that GG posted photo's &videos of the acts he recorded in his home. Might he have been generating income this way? Has it been determined where the postings were?

Why? If it is two consenting adults, neither of whom appear to be 'under duress". What is criminal about that? Perhaps there is some mild bondage or chocking (seems to be his thing) and this is why they are described as beyond pornographic.

But, bondage and choking are relatively common in *advertiser censored*, so they wouldn't be "beyond pornographic". I think that is either a misquote or diliberate sensationalism from the reporter, so the officials who have spoken about it don't seem to see it as unremarkable. Maybe the fact that the source was dutch and the report was english caused some sort of translation error? (IMO this is allmost certainly what happened)

What does "beyond pornographic" mean anyway?

The biggest question I have and the most troubling to me would be why did this man tell the customs officer, right before he was arrested and trying to leave the country, that his "friend" would be taking another flight, when the customs officer asked him where she was. That is a blatant lie. If he had nothing to hide, he would not have had to lie about that.

Because if he told the truth and said "she dissappeared and I'm leaving early", he would have been arrested anyway.

bbm

Perhaps, something bordering on torture or rape?

The more I look, the less like bruising it looks. The other model's entire body seems to have the same discoloration.

It is not bruises. The discoloration is either:

(a) An artefact that is produced when you shrink and compress a high resolution picture of naked skin. This is a routine occurence. What happens is that any blood vessels become highlighted in the process and it looks like bruises or a varicose veins. If you looked at the original you would barely notice anything.

(b) There is a tattoo there that has been covered up with body makeup. This is a common thing for models with tattoos to do, since photographers don't like them.

on that modelling site mentioned earlier that picture is there minus the 'bruising' it's normal.

I think GG told her what she wanted to hear, something like, Hey come to Aruba with me and I can help you with some photos for your portfolio. I think she felt obligated to have sex with him but she probably had to be drunk or do drugs to get through it. (lol) I know I would!

I also think he snapped, he in his mind thought this is the one I'm going to not let go and she probably told him she wanted to go home. The gig is up she said! I think it was GG who texted what's is name back in Maryland. I don't think it was her at all.
