Maybe this is a stretch, but it's tone is of multiple personalities. It's almost like a mean, dominant personality is telling the weaker, fragile personality to suck it up. That kind of fits with LM hitting himself in the head sometimes.

Oh, in researching this message, I stumbled on a youtube video that made me laugh a little. I don't want to link it because it's probably against the rules here, but if you search on "Don't like what you see in the mirror? Use EFT" Maybe I shouldn't poke fun, but I found it pretty funny and we all need a good laugh now and again!

I was only interested in the Casablanca poster. Is there a way to get a still shot of the poster without the graphic? I googled and there are many. Here is an example: http://www.allposters.com/-st/Casablanca-1942-Posters_c188_.htm

I was wondering which one he chose for the video. I'm not discounting your theory about the willing versus non willing. In fairness, there is not much we know about the victim at this point. Yes, there have been rumblings about JL frequenting some questionable websites but again, I'm not sure that has been confirmed or whether or not it's even true. His friends don't think the 2 were lovers but there have been 2 sides of him posted online so who knows. Some say they met in the "deep web", others say they met at the convenience store, etc. Sadly, the only one who knows the truth is dead.

I just want to add the rest of LMs common mistakes. I checked every post from those two sites:

I completely agree with you! Sadly My gut feeling is JL was lonely and far from home and looking for some positive engagement with someone. Maybe he was doing a little exploring as we know he recently came "out" in China..(not an easy thing to do any geographical location...but china...poor guy) and who would ever really think this would happen to them. He had no idea this was in store for him. None. Its surreal. I know it was surreal for JL (luckily he seemed to be very out of it when things turned for the worse..at whatever point that was as you said..we may never know)...its surreal for his family...AND it's surreal for US! This is a whole different animal of a case here. I admire anyone willing to stick around and make sense of this..it's not always easy.

None of the posters on that link you sent were the one. and I can't seem to find one on the web at the moment that is non LM related..here is a link of LM taken probably months ago (it was posted in numerous places but curiously NOT on the official LM website purportedly run by him or his "agent" ) ..this is not from the killvid..

...again that is not a still from the video nor a "hype" photo put out a week or so ahead of the murder to "advertise" it. (nothing to do with JLs murder) The link takes you to a picture of luka posing in front of the version of the poster we are talking about. (and assumable that it's the same one in the killvid) That picture, in fact, is one that one of the groups that were actively tracking him down had a side by side comparison that was presented to the police to confirm their early suspicions. (I can't recall where I originally saw the side by side comparison...perhaps if someone else knows?)

ETA sorry I just noticed other posters found the non luka picture of the poster...I took too long in responding..disregard the link.

I think i got about 10 seconds in. I turned my head but in my peripheral i could still see the stabbing continue. Clicked it off. Reading what he did was bad enough. For me i just dont want Luka's horrific actions forever seared in my brain. That's just me.

okay, heaven help me, I "watched" the video through my fingers and now believe that (1) there is no actual evidence of cannabalism in the edited version; (2) it's a tiny puppy, like barely weaned; (3) that the simulated sex is far more "authentic" than I'd expected -- and that the rest would be on the unedited version; (4) the person doing at least some of the horrific deeds does seem significantly fatter than lm; (5) that the sweats worn by the apparently larger person are black rather than purple ( but remember, I'm watching through my hands); and (6) whatever sadness I might have felt for how this person's life turned out is completely gone. Personally, I don't feel at all sorry for Labatt's ever since they plagiarized the name "Blue" from Molson in the 1960s. ("Blue" was what the public called Molson Stock Ale, but Molson failed to trademark it, so Labatt's grabbed it for their Pilsener. )

Criminal lawyer Dirk Derstine, who recently represented Michael Rafferty in his first-degree murder trial, agreed that Magnotta faces more hurdles because of the notoriety of the case.
