I was just making sure, I read somewhere that she wrote or said - not sure if it was vine or twitter that a lot of people make accounts on social media sites pretending to be her. (I believe she actually said that on vine) this whole thing is so sad, I wonder if her story will go national. It's just very weird - I still to this day don't understand how people can just disappear.
 
If the car is still missing, is there a chance this started as a car-jacking? It could have been stripped to the frame on some backroad, or driven to a chop shop.

If bf involved, then maybe that's not likely. But, if biker gangs (like Hells Angels, etc.) regularly travel through, maybe auto-theft and human trafficking are still a possibility.
 
I'm just worried about how she put herself out there, personally, her location & also in such a sexually explicit manner. I'm not talking bad about her, but there are many creepy men out there and RSO's that have probably viewed her twitter with that many followers..
 
At first I was thinking she might be missing because of the car...Maximas are very popular here, but now that the info about her Twitter account is coming out, I'm leaning toward her possibly going to Lynchburg to meet someone and that meeting got totally out of control. There are lots of back roads and places to dump and car and a body near here.
 
I heard something very interesting on the Nelson County Scanner this morning...there is a man selling stun guns that look like flashlights. The police are still looking for him now.
 
I agree, poor girl - she probably didn't even think anything of it when she posted those pictures or videos...I just hope they didn't get her into serious trouble. I just don't have a good feeling :/ she doesn't seem like the girl that would just up and run away or anything like that.

Hooking? She is a high school volleyball player with a job. She also apparently finds and sells rare sneakers/shoes on Ebay and the like. 1K in hand is nothing any more. Could be savings from her job, or the profits from a few shoe transactions.

Though she seems pretty 'gangsta' in her tweets at first glance, she's actually very articulate and seems well learned and cultured for a 17 year old. Seems like a lot of it is a 'front' as the kids say.

What I'm thinking now is that since her car hasn't been found, she may have had an accident. Are there any bodies of water on the way to L-burg? Did her phone suddenly turn off?

She also speaks a good deal about 'jealous girlfriends' needing to leave her alone, so there could be an angle there as well.
 
It's odd that she doesn't have a "missings page" on facebook yet. TBH.

Based on her Twitter, I'm assuming that her family members aren't big social media users. Because, frankly, if I found that kind of stuff on my daughter's social media page, the roof would blow off this house.

I definitely agree! I don't ever want to be put into that situation if I would catch my daughter doing this, it would noooot be nice at all! But thinking about it, I feel bad for her parents if they had no clue that she was acting like this on social media - once again, I'm not trying to talk bad - but I would be embarrassed if I found out my child was making videos and taking pictures like that and I had no clue. On a second note, I would think that her friends would have made a page or even commented on her post or fb saying "where are you" I assume we can see the comments on her facebook page because I have seen some people comments on her post. It's almost like she isn't even missing. They had two people on her vine comment about her missing and wanting her to come back but that's as far as I have seen. I just hope the police do a good job going through all of her social media pages and what not.
 
How far is the gas station she was on video at from the Executive Inn in Amherst where the murder took place on the same night?

The suspect in that murder, Sylvester Matthew Cheatham, is still at large.

It's along 29 on the way to Lynchburg. What are the chances?
 
Granted this is alarming due to there being (purportedly) 50 FBI agents, the state police, and local deputies involved, but I can't help but think that she may have had a car accident. Those roads up in that area are somewhat mountainous, twisty, and heavily wooded. Lots of low shoulders and bad spots from what I can recall.

Again though, the FBI being involved on such a large scale, and their not talking to anyone about anything, might mean they know a great deal more than we know, and that it isn't good.

Sheriff said they were analyzing data. Perhaps her phone is still on or they can ping it to its last location.

That's my opinion of the roads, too...not a fan!

I wonder if the FBI presence is because the FBI has its training headquarters in Virginia.
