Young Mother Missing in Tifton, GA Sunday Blombergh, 28
Tifton, GA
MISSING: April 22, 2010
Sunday Blombergh, 28, is missing. She would not just up and leave nor abandon her 7 year old daughter. She was last heard from on the morning of Thurs., April 22nd in which she spoke with her sister about meeting in the afternoon. She also was waiting for her mother in law to come to her home. When her mother in law arrived she said Sunday was not there. Sunday and her husband are separated. She always talks with her family and friends constant throughout each day on her cell phone and no calls have been made and her cell phone goes direct to voicemail. Her family asks that the public please help look for her as they are extremely worried that something may have happened to her.

Height: 5'5" Weight: 140lbs
Hair: Brown Eyes: Hazel

The Tift County Sheriffs Office says 28-year-old Sunday Blombergh has been missing since April 22.
She was last seen at her residence on Briarwood Lane in Tifton, Georgia.

FB page for Sunday shows over 150 friends. But only a few have a status message about Sunday being missing.
Those that do, basically saying, hope you come home, thinking about you.

I am confused by the comment "her mother-in-law arrived at her house" ...
Is Sunday married? The person she lists as "in a relationship with" on her FB page, has nothing regarding her missing on his own page and he posted yesterday. Maybe they are no longer together?

This is confusing. She was separated, lived with a roomate, was moving and supposed to be buying a car with help from her dad. Her sister had to talked to her earlier in the day about meeting with her.
So who did she leave with, and where is her child?
Another item I read said she was waiting for her sister to pick her up. Her sister Sunshine that is. i read that on the facebook wall for Sunday.

TIFTON — A family is fearing the worst since nothing has been heard from 27-year-old Sunday Bloombergh, who went missing from her Tift County home on April 22.
Bloombergh and her young school-aged daughter was living with her mother-in-law on Briarwood Lane in southern Tift County. Her sisters, Promise Bloombergh of Miami and Sunshine Bloombergh of Tallahassee, said it isn’t likely that their sister would leave her daughter so long without letting someone know.
“She wouldn’t leave her daughter like that,” Promise said.
Promise and Sunshine both said their sister always had her cell phone with her. They noted it was always turned on and she would never refuse to answer a call from them.
“That phone is with her any and everywhere, and she has never done this,” Promise said.
“My sister is always with her phone,” Sunshine said.
Sunshine said that after repeated attempts to reach Sunday by cell phone failed, she got in touch with a representative of the cell phone company her sister used. That person, Sunshine said, told her that they couldn’t give out the phone’s call logs without a subpoena but that they could tell her that no calls had been made or text messages sent from the phone since Thursday.
“That’s not my sister,” Sunshine said.
Sunshine said Sunday told her that her employer had cut her hours and that she was looking for another job. Sunshine said that plans were for Sunday to move to Tallahassee, and live with a friend of hers and work there until her daughter was out of school for the summer. While she was there, Sunday planned to visit her daughter on the weekends.
Plans were, Sunshine said, for her to pick Sunday up at 3 p.m. April 22 at her home. She also said that a friend of Sunday’s who lives in Tallahassee talked with Sunday midday April 22, and Sunday told the friend that she had to get off of the telephone because she wasn’t finished with her packing. Sunshine said that none of Sunday’s belongings seemed to be missing from the home, and nothing was reportedly in disarray at the residence.

The best source of information right now seems to be the Missing-FB Page.
- Sunday's phone has went straight to voicemail since she went missing on Thursday 4/22.
- The guy listed as "in a relationship" with on her FB page is only a friend who Sunday listed for personal reasons. They are not in a relationship, he has not spoken with her and does not know where she is.
- Family members and friends met in Tifton at 10:00 am this morning (04/30) to search for Sunday.
- Still nothing on who the husband is (they are separated) or the last time he had contact with her.

There appears to be several areas of water and a lake in very close proximity to the Briarwood Lane address that Sunday vanished from.

Well, unless the one photo is a mug shot, it must have come from the family? And the other one certainly looks like a private snapshot, so someone must have given that to the paper. Does seem an odd choice.

It is most likely a mug shot from Brazoria County Jail in Texas. Sunday Blombergh was living in Lake Jackson, TX when she was arrested in 2006 (Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Over 1 Gram, Under 4 Grams) and 2009 (Driving While Intoxicated). The 2006 drug charge was for a Penalty Group I which includes heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, and similar drugs. It was a felony charge for drug dealing, not just possession.

This is only 20 miles (Tifton) and 33 miles (Lenox) from Ocilla where Tara Grinstead went missing in 2005.
An address I found on one of those links that is suppose to be where she lived on Briarwood in Lenox is also a property for sale. Advertised on Trulia. Three acres, it looked like a mobile home on Google Earth. Very remote area.

Loved ones held candlelight vigils in Tallahassee and Tifton, Ga., for Sunday Blombergh, who has been missing since April 22.
They gathered Saturday at Lake Ella for the Tallahassee vigil. Earlier in the day, family members, friends and others searched for her in Tifton, where she was last seen.
"We're just hoping for the best at this point," said Reign Blombergh, Sunday's father, at the vigil. "I don't want to think she's not alive. I just can't go there."
A group of about 25 people gathered at the park's gazebo and lit candles in silence for about 30 minutes.
Supporters approached the family before leaving, offering hugs and words of encouragement.
Lorena Jones hugged Reign Blombergh and said, "I know what's like to have a loved one to go missing. I wouldn't wish it on anyone to have to go through something like this."
