Wouldnt you like to be a fly on the wall in that jury room tomorrow? But I certainly wouldnt want to BE ON the jury. There will be a real battle in there tomorrow. When i first learned of this case and started follow it, I really thought Vanessa really was just a girl that got swept up in a really bad situation. But more and more as I've watched the trials, and read and reread the statements and thought about the timelines, etc., I am really convinced that she was an active participant. I'm just not sure if this jury can get to that point from only living this for a week and a half.

I don't know. Vanessa's is the first trial that I have followed. I read some on this case when it first came out but it was so horrible I didn't read much. I believe the prosecution laid the case out very well. I have no doubt that Vanessa was involved. Hopefully the jury will believe the same.

Vanessa just a smiling...I don't think I would be smiling. I think I would be worried I was going to prison forever.

Does anyone remember how long the other juries took? I'm wracking my brain and can't remember at all.

The jury is sent off to deliberate.
You can set Jamie's twitter to send alerts to your phone. She will send one out when the jury reached a verdict.

Yes, she didn't look worried at all. Her Dad looked worried...she just looked happy.

Morning all, I think the pros laid it out well in closing that she was involved and is as criminally responsible as the other 4
I hope the jury gets it, I wonder if there will be a verdict today, they start fresh today so can put in a whole day, they are sequestered so can work long days if needed to get it done so they can go home

I missed most of this trial. i didn't realize it started. I'm expecting justice and nothing less from this jury today. May the Lord guide them in their decisions.

Yes, on any Twitter page you follow, to the right of the bar that says "Following", there is a little mobile phone symbol. Just click on that to receive or not receive phone tweets.

I think it only took a couple of hours for G Thomas jury to find him guilty.

I just can not believe how happy and carefree she looked today. Not worried at all. I wonder if she will still be so happy if a guilty verdict comes down?

I have no faith in this jury. Of course, I'm only judging that by the questions that were asked. Maybe those questions were only asked by one or two members and the rest feel the way that we do about VC.
I hope I'm just being pessimistic this morning and the jury will come to the right conclusion about her guilt.

Morning everyone...I'm a little pessimistic this morning as well Lizzy. I'm really hoping for a good outcome on this one. I'm with Julie, I think we'll have an answer one way or the other this afternoon sometime.
I dont think any of the juries took all that long to determine the verdict...however this jury seems to have more questions than the others did. So I don't know how this one is going to turn out.

The jury in the Cobbins trial, which was also from Nashville, took a full day and about 2 hours of a second day to arrive at a verdict. The Davidson jury took 7 hours over 2 days. The Thomas jury took 6 hours over 2 days. These were for the guilt phase.
