Missing man with dementia sought

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding an elderly man with dementia.
William Maese, 84, left Providence Medical Center around 1:25 Friday afternoon and has not returned home. Police believe he may be headed to Iowa.
Maese was last seen driving a white 4-door 1999 Ford Taurus with Kansas tags SJO-234. He was wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt and a hat with IOWA in the front. He is 5’11, 135 pounds with brown eyes.
The Kansas City, Kan., Police Department is asking anyone with information to call 913-573-6020 or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
