Police seek help finding missing Va. Beach man

Alan Scott Hollinger, 52, of Virginia Beach was last seen Sunday night.

Police are asking for the public’s help to find a man who has been missing since Sunday night.

Alan Scott Hollinger, 52, is described as a white male, 5 feet 9, 150 pounds, with brown hair and eyes, said Sgt. Brian Ricardo, a Virginia Beach police spokesman.

He could be driving a black Nissan Cube with Virginia plates XPB-9729.

Police are trying to locate him to check on his welfare. He has made suicidal statements in the past and is believed to be in the area, Ricardo said.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Virginia Beach emergency dispatchers at (757) 385-5000 or in Virginia Beach, call 911.

Hollinger was picked up at around 6: p.m. on 85th Street. Police tell WAVY.com Hollinger was found in a "critical, but not life threatening condition."
