I can see TES being able to possibly assist in this case. In many cases a search area can't necessarily be narrowed down. However, since the possible POI in this case is known to have sold a boat near the time Bonnie disappeared, if LE knows where he most often used that boat it could narrow down possible search area's for TES.
Praying TES is able to assist!

Cubby,
There have been several areas of interest. RC's property is several acres, the area around the nursing home and Alton Memorial Hospital, Rock Springs Park are the ones that have been searched once already. There is a creek that runs thru RC's property. We have the Mississippi River and the Illinois River that runs in this area as well as several lakes and ponds.
ETA: We also have several slews in the area..

Thank you Mythic. If I may shorten your user name to Mythic. If LE believes Bonnie may have been in a boat that is one area to search. I don't know if he boated on the Mississipi or Illinois River. I am so much closer to Lake Michigan I have very little knowledge on boating on rivers.... Could this POI have used that boat on either River?
The other area's such as the property he owns might also be a great area for TES to search.
I'm really just thinking outloud here. I have followed Bonnies case as closely as I can since she was reported missing as I try to follow as many IL cases as I can.
answers into Bonnies disappearance are found soon!

Anyone has access to the River's to be honest. Most people in this area has boated on one river or the other at one point and time. As for his boat, I am sure that he could. We would go out on John Boats in the river for fishing all the time.

Sorry for the long link, I didn't know how to shorten it. This is a Map that shows the rivers and the big lakes/reservoirs for IL. Alton is Just south of where the Miss/IL river's connect. I hope this gives you an idea. This does not show creeks and what not, which are everywhere around here.

Here is a map of Jerseyville, IL. RC's property is in Jerseyville. You can see how close Jerseyville is to the Illinois River and Alton sits alongside of the Mississippi.

ALTON - They will light candles, release balloons and silently wonder once again what happened to their loved one.
The friends and family of Bonnie L. Woodward will gather from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Gordon Moore Park to mark the first anniversary of her disappearance. Woodward vanished from the parking lot of Eunice Smith Nursing Home, where she worked, on June 25, 2010.

Yellow balloons - 365 of them - sailed into the evening sky Saturday as family and friends of Bonnie Woodward gathered in Alton to draw comfort from one another on the one-year anniversary of her disappearance. She would have turned 49 on Monday

I was at the vigil tonight, hearing them talk about Bonnie was heart breaking. Bonnie was/is a beautiful woman who loved everyone, no matter what their background. she is missed terribly by her friends and family.

Irony: Some of the balloons from Bonnie's vigil ended up in the front yard a couple houses down from the man involved in the disappearance. Could some of them have ended up in his yard too? We know this because the lady called her sister. It made her night. They started out in Alton and ended up in rural Jersey County.

Meaghan from Charley Project really did a good write up on Bonnies case. More than I recall reading in MSM.
I wonder if there was survelliance video at the nursing home and if it was checked.
Really sounds like LE has a strong POI, or POI's.
Praying answers in Bonnies case are found soon.

A body was recently found in Calhoun County. Besides Bonnie, there is one other woman that it matches-Sherry Wood. Currently, LE says that they do not think that it is Bonnie but, they are running her DNA against this Body. They are still waiting on an identification but, the body has been in the water so long, it is taking a bit longer.

The Charlie Project write up looks good with the exception that Heather is Bonnie's Step-Daughter.
The family thinks that Heather knows more than she is saying, as well.

The family is still waiting on DNA results on the body that was found. I'll update when there is something new.

Thank you for your continued updates Mythic.
There was also recently more remains found in SW IL which have been determined to be human. MSM is saying LE believes they are likely very old, but how they define very old is unknown. These remains were found near the Mississippi River. I'm not familiar enough with SW IL to determine if this is within the range of possibilities for where Bonnie may be found, or if the POI was known to boat in this area. However, I did want to ensure you were aware.
A thread for these remains can be found here: (this is in our unidentified forum)

Would they consider someone from 3 hours away "not local"?
Body found in field on Bloomington's west side
October 10, 2011
Snipped....
Quote:
BLOOMINGTON -- Bloomington police and the McLean County coroner are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in a field on the city's west side.
The badly decomposed body of an adult, white woman was found before 1 p.m. Monday near Valley View Drive and JC Parkway, according to authorities. The body was in some brush near a harvested cornfield, Coroner Beth Kimmerling said.
"She had been there for quite some time," Kimmerling said.
Based on missing-persons police reports, the coroner said she has an idea who the woman may be, but she will wait for dental records and DNA tests to confirm an identity. The person in question is not local, she said.
There were no obvious signs of trauma, and nothing was found with the body to indicate foul play, Kimmerling said. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
A group of investors were inspecting a farm field on the north side of Valley View Drive when they found the body, police said.
