Mt. Gilead girl missing since Sunday

MOUNT GILEAD - The parents of a 14-year-old girl who ran away from a mental health treatment center for children are desperate to find her.
Rachel York, of Mount Gilead, has been missing since Sunday, when she ran away from The Buckeye Ranch School in Grove City where she was receiving treatment, said her father, David York.
"There has been no contact since last Sunday," he said. "We're just desperate."
Rachel York had been at the facility for about a month, he said.
She ran away with her roommate Sunday.
She hasn't been in contact with any friends or family, he said.
She is 5 feet, 4 inches and 140 pounds with brown, shoulder-length straight hair with red streaks.
She has brown eyes.
She ran away from home two years ago, her father said, and has had continuing mental health issues. She doesn't have any of her medication and he fears for her safety, he said.
York asks that anyone with information call him at 419-751-7191. The Columbus police officer on the case is Detective Rick Steller; his number is 614-277-1710.

Grove City police say a second missing teen is safe Friday after the other girl teen was located Thursday afternoon.

Grove City police announced at about 9 a.m. Friday that Rachel also was found safe.

Rachel and Samantha both remain in police custody. Grove City police said the teens violated a juvenile court issue of some sort.
