Introduction: Kyron Horman Case Review #1: LE Pressers - In Progress Now - Join In!!
Introduction
Kyron Horman Case Review #1:
LE Press Conferences & Press Releases
Begins Tuesday, August 24, 2010

Please join us for the first Kyron Horman Case Review. This Case Review will entail going back to the start of the case to review each of the LE press conferences. and LE press releases, documents, and pictures that have been released along with them.
If this first Case Review proves to be productive, we can conduct more reviews in the future on other areas in Kyron's case, plus we'll be able to take our Case Review experience to other cases we follow on Websleuths, and conduct and participate in them there. So let's give this our best shot!
We'll go back and watch and listen to all the LE pressers, and read the press releases and documents LE issued, and see what information we can discover that we might have missed the first time around.
I often go back after a time in a case, and pull up old information to review it. With the knowledge I've gained as the case has progressed, I frequently find some nuggets of information that, at the time they became public, had no meaning to me. But with knowledge I've gained as time went on, some of those little nuggets become more significant, and can be helpful in understanding various facets of the case, or certain events within a case.
For example, I recently discovered in going back that the day that Captain Jason Gates broke down and cried at a press conference, was the same day that Terri Horman allegedly failed her first polygraph test. Are those two things related? I don't know!
But it's interesting, and as we find information like that, we can take it over to the existing discussion threads, or create new threads, and discuss the info to see what more we can discover about what happened to Kyron.
** Please note that it's important, since we'll be reviewing a variety of information, that we don't turn this into a General Discussion thread, and cause more work for our mods. The goal is to look for new information, information that now has more meaning to us than it did earlier, and document it here, so let's stay focused! If we want to discuss possible meanings of what we find, let's do it in one of the discussion threads, so we can stay focused on our fact finding mission here.
** Each day of the Case Review, a new thread will open for the materials to be reviewed that day. Don't worry if you can't join in the day it starts - you can jump in later any time!
This is a great opportunity for guest readers to join Websleuths and sleuth along with us, as well as for newer members and others who haven't followed the case since the beginning to jump in and catch what you might have missed.
Please come join in our very first Kyron Horman Case Review!
Thanks!
BeanE

The first Case Review thread will be on the June 5 press conference and press release. I'll post the thread for it in the morning.
Meanwhile, here are all the videos, audios, and links to MCSO's website where you can get a jump on the case review by printing out the press releases and documents if you'd like, to have handy while we review.

Great idea BeanE! Looks like a great deal of work went into planning this, thank you!
You are fantastic at catching and straightening out contradictions of all kinds and keeping the comments accurate and on target. I picture you sitting in a room with walls filled with categories and a ton of links under each one. How do you do it?
And thanks to the mods who have worked so hard to keep the Kyron threads ethical and on track - there is a keen sense for rumor control here on the Kyron threads and I appreciate it very much.
Question: Will this by in the am only or also in the pm? TIA

As much as I'm looking forward to a long weekend on Mackinac Island (Michigan), I'm bummed that I won't be able to participate for a few days. Parting is such sweet sorrow

The island is beautiful, you won't be bummed out for long. Have a wonderful time, the bike rides, fudge, and no cars are my favorite. The Grand Hotel is beautiful. Enjoy!

Thank you, eyes and everybody, for your very kind words. I appreciate it.
I'll open the first thread in the morning after I grab my first cup of coffee. Then after that, each day in the morning, I'll open the next thread. Even when new thread opens, people will still be reviewing I'm sure, because of work, obligations, kids, vacations, etc. So they'll stay open.

Oh that sounds wonderful, BDE! And don't be bummed. I'm sure when you get back there will be others at the same point in the review. Just post and let people know which one you're working on. I'm sure you'll find some buddies to work with.

We make an (almost) annual trek to Mackinac and truly enjoy the peace and tranquility of the idyllic island. There's cable TV where we stay (condo) but no internet, even if we had a laptop. I'll be playing catch-up when I get home and feel an all-nighter coming on Even though I think it's too sweet, I just might have to bring home some fudge to keep me awake

I love it and think YOU should be on LE's payroll. I have no idea how you keep all this stuff straight but I'm in awe!

"To add to that information, we have on display the likenesses of the shirt, pants, socks and shoes Kyron was wearing on the day of his disappearance."
The picture shows the glasses, shirt, pants, socks and shoes, but the flyer states the, likenesses of shirt, pants, shoes, socks but NOT the glasses.
The flyer does not specifically state the glasses are a likeness, but all the other items are a likeness.
