Circumstances of Disappearance
Kelekoma was last seen at her boyfriend's residence in Anahola, Hawaii in 1986. He indicated he went to the store and upon his return the door was open, the TV was on, and her slippers were at the door. In 1986, a steward with an airline claimed he had seen her in California. This report has never been confirmed. Despite law enforcement searches, Ms. Kelekoma has never been seen or heard from again.

Details of Disappearance
Accounts differ as to where Stacey was last seen; one has it that she was last seen at a party at Anahola Beach Park in Anahola, Hawaii.

Another story is that she was at her boyfriend's residence in Anahola on August 25, 1986. Her boyfriend reportedly went to the store and when he came home, the door was open and the television was on but Stacey was not there. Her slippers were left by the door.

Later in 1986, a flight attendant claimed he had seen Stacey in California. The possible sighting has never been confirmed. Stacey's case remains unsolved.

Stacey Kelekoma, Missing from Hawaii since 1986.

Missing 36 years

According to this she is of Portuguese-Hawaiian descent.

Noting it is the Prosecuting Attorney out of Kauai County whose website indicates Stacey was last seen at a party at Anahola Beach Park.

It would be interesting to know how old was the boyfriend ? Was she staying at his house or his parents house ? Was he cleared by LE ?

There are thousands of cases where there is literally no evidence...Thousands upon thousands...
In this case, the girl disappeared from her boyfriend's house... Her belongings, fingerprints, and DNA will be all over the house... So none of that would be useful...
Unless her blood is found, what evidence is there in the house?
If a neighbor didn't hear or see anything, then there were no witnesses...
If no accomplice comes forward, there are no witnesses...
If the victim never told anyone about the abuse or the crimes, then there are no witnesses to protest...
If there is no video of the crime or of the boyfriend doing anything unusual in the house during the crime, then there is no video evidence...
Like it or not, the reason there are thousands and thousands of unsolved crimes and missing people is because there is no evidence to point the police in the right direction...
So we act all day, every day, but to be fair, police aren't psychic and can't follow a trail that doesn't exist...
I'm convinced her boyfriend killed her... But there's no evidence to prove it...
