9-14-10 AR Briana Ault fort smith murdered

her car was found just a few blocks from where she worked at the electric cowboy, and her body was found over five miles away. other people saw her downtown after she left work but it doesnt say for sure if she took her car when they went downtown. it does say she told friends she was going to give someone a ride so possibly she had her car with her or she could have caught a ride back to her car. very sad. prayers for Briana's family and hope they quickly find who did this to her.

it says the friends didnt know who she was going to give a ride to but they knew he lived on texas road in pocola. and they found her body in a strip pit or pond on texas road. i dont think there are too many houses on texas road although its been years since i was out there. i hope they solve this one very soon. prayers for her family and friends.

I was under the impression her body was found in a strip pit. Similar to the area where Joe Neffs body was found.

Lots of information in that video. She left "sometime after midnight" to pick someone up after receiving a text message request. Then at 4 a.m. her phone texted the girlfriend she had been with saying that the person she was going to pick up didn't need a ride after all, and that she was going home.
I wonder whose phone made the original call to Brianna.
Another article said that she left Rooster's around closing to pick the man up. What time do bars close in OK? There are 2 clubs with rooster in the name in that area.

the roosters they are talking about is in fort smith ark on garrison ave. and i think it closes at 5am. some clubs in fort smith close at 2am.

i saw it both as a strip pit and a pond. some strip pits are not very deep, some are very deep. i believe the one where joe neff was found was on the other side of pocola, farther into oklahoma. texas road is very near the ark/ok state line.

Wow, another murder in OK. I hope this one will be solved. If she got out of her car voluntarily, I would say it has to be due to the fact that she knew the person, where she stopped. Interesting that they cleared the ex boyfriend, but not the ex husband.

bbm this is interesting. i have a feeling there are some complicated issues involved. they should be able to get her phone records and find out what numbers called her phone that night. of course it doesnt mean that whoever she went to give the ride to is the one who did this, but the text at 4am to her friend saying she was going home and didnt give the ride after all would make it seem that way. especially since she didnt go home. and the friends thought the person she was going to give a ride to lived on the same road where she was found....doesnt seem like it would be too hard to solve. at least there are some clues in this one. and it wont be only okla law enforcement investigating since she was from fort smith and her car was found burned there, the ark law enforcement will be involved and they do have a better track record than the okla boys. imo, jmo, mho and all that jazz.

Fort Smith Detective Stabbed While Questioning Brothers About Murder
A Fort Smith police officer was injured Wednesday night after a confrontation with two men wanted for questioning in the death of Briana Ault, 22. Sgt. Daniel Grubbs says investigators obtained cell phones records that showed Elvis Thacker and his brother Jonathan Thacker sent text messages to Ault the night of her death.
"We know Elvis Thacker the one that was actually shot, we know that he had actually had communication with Miss Ault during the early morning hours in this key period when she ended up missing," said Sgt. Grubbs.

apparently elvis thacker almost died from his gunshot injury, but he pulled through  if he doesnt die from this injury, i hope he gets the death penalty. jmo, imo, mho and all that.

Maybe if they had bothered to track them down and serve the rape warrants, Briana would still be alive. It seems LE doesn't try very hard to serve warrants. IMO
