GA - Thurmond Beasley - Atlanta - 26 Sept 2010

http://www.ajc.com/news/atlanta/miss...rss_news_81960

Thurmond Beasley was in Atlanta visiting family, according to information from the Atlanta Police Department. He checked out of the Hyatt Hotel on Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta and has not been heard from since, police said.

Police said Beasley was last seen driving his 2004 black Lexus 300. The car has tinted windows and an “Omega Psi Phi” fraternity license tag on the front and a Meharry Medical School Alumni tag border around that.

The Mississippi license plate tag number is: LFH500.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Tupelo Mississippi Police at 662-841-6546.

Looks like he is a respected dentist with long history and ties in Tupelo and was in contact with his family. 67 years old, 210 lbs. Not much info out there about him.

Here's a map of his possible route. Out I-20, through Birmingham, AL, and up US-78 to Tupelo.

Just the same info over and over again with nothing new!

One article did say that his family had come to ATL to work with LE, so I am hopeful that that means they pinged his phone or checked the records and believe he is still in the area. Right? If he had gotten to, say, Birmingham, wouldn't the family go there to look?

I can't believe there is no more news than this. I hope the family is doing interviews.

I think he has a facebook (picture looks like him) but it is completely locked down. I can't find any fb page to help search for him. Not sure why I am so worried about this man, but I really am!
