Silver Alert Issued For Missing El Paso Man

EL PASO, Texas -- The El Paso Police Department is asking for the community's assistance in locating 78-year old Isidro Carrasco. Carrasco, who was last seen yesterday Tuesday, October 5, 2010, in the morning at his home in the 800 block of Silvestre in the Mission Valley.

Carrasco suffers from high blood pressure, diabetes and has recently displayed signs of memory loss. Carrasco is a Hispanic male, grey hair, brown eyes, 5'7" - 5'8" tall, 170- 200 lbs., heavy build, light skin tone.

He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, grey shirt, grey pants and flip flops. Carrasco was going to recycle cans in Socorro and was driving a 1998 Green Ford Taurus, Four Door with Tx plates NTX710.

Carrasco never arrived to recycle the cans. Anyone that may have information on his whereabouts or has seen him is asked to call Police Communications immediately at 832-4400.

A helicopter search has turned up no sign of a man who went missing from his Mission Valley home two days ago. Isidro Carrasco, 78, disappeared from his home in the 800 block of Silvestre on Tuesday. And with the search now going into its third day, the family is asking for your help in bringing him home.

A 78-year-old El Paso man who was last seen by family members Tuesday was found dead Friday in Hudspeth County, officials said.
