Attempted kidnapping suspect...huh?

So, this guy tries to kidnap a 10 year-old girl from her bus stop, yet he gets six months of house arrest and four years of probation? Why do they let them plea "no contest" rather than prosecuting and keeping these child predators off the streets? Is it just me or do others find this sentence ridiculous? I guess we just have to wait until he rapes or murders another child to take any real action...

What? Seriously? Messed up on soooo many levels. I guess my first question is, where is this homeless monster gonna do his house arrest. And well, the other questions include so much profanity that it would earn me a time out. *sigh* I have a gun sweet innocent ten year old who will probably never be the same. Do the people that approve of such ridiculous sentences have children? What about morals? Souls? Ok hearts, anything?
