K-9 Unit Searches for Missing Albion Woman
Posted: 11:41 PM Dec 11, 2010
Reporter: Rachel Thomas
Email Address: rachel.thomas@wilx.com

Quote:
Over the roads and through the woods of Albion, K-9 units are following the scent of Heather Cousino. The 33-year-old has been missing for two days.

"This is not in her character to not phone within the same day," said Cousino's cousin Gina Clark.

Officers of the Calhuon County Sheriff's Dept. say a woman of 33 is usually self-sufficent. But the Cousino family says her medical conditions put her at risk.

Deputies conducted two extensive ground searches in the area she went missing but so far have no found any leads.

A helicopter search was canceled Saturday and Sunday because of bad weather.

RE: Adderall, info from drugs.com/adderall see below, but keep in mind, like most medications the pills come in different doses and we don't know how many pills she may have had remaining in her bottle. But I agree this certainly is/could be a fatal situation:

What happens if I overdose?

Seek emergency medical attention or call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222. An overdose of Adderall can be fatal.

Overdose symptoms may include restlessness, tremor, muscle twitches, rapid breathing, confusion, hallucinations, panic, aggressiveness, unexplained muscle pain or tenderness, muscle weakness, fever or flu symptoms, and dark colored urine. These symptoms may be followed by depression and tiredness. Other overdose symptoms include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, uneven heartbeats, feeling light-headed, fainting, seizure (convulsions), or coma.

Thanks,
Ted

Family, friends, strangers join forces in search for Heather Cousino

Slowly walking through rows of trees, everyone was silent. They were scanning the snow-covered underbrush for anything that could lead them to Heather Cousino.

The missing woman’s mother, Diane Cousino, came upon a mound of snow with what looked like green plastic. Someone cleared it off — it was a bag of trash dumped in the woods.

They walked on.

There were 60 in the bottle she had just got the refill 2 days earlier. Helicopters were out briefly on Monday afternoon and 3 k9 units responded Tuesday morning including myself.

I forgot to mention that they do not know how many of the pills she might have taken. The bottle has not been found, so she could have taken 1 or 60 no one really knows.
