LAPORTE — A 19-year-old woman never returned home after stepping out for a walk.

That's according to LaPorte Police, who right now don't suspect foul play in the disappearance but haven't ruled anything out.

"I don't really have anything more until we dig into this deeper,'' said LaPorte Police Chief of Detectives Paul Brettin.

Emily Spoon, 19, was new to the area and living with a cousin in the 1700 block of Andrew Avenue.

Her cousin told officers Spoon went for a walk on Sunday and never returned.

She was wearing a floral shirt, blue jeans, black boots and a coat.

Police are turning to citizens for help in the ongoing investigation.

''If anybody has any ideas, definitely call us,'' Brettin said.

Missing adult reported in the 1700 Blk Andrew Av. on Monday, 12-13, at 11:32 AM.
Reporter stated her missing 19 year-old female cousin, who is new to the area, has been staying with her. Her cousin left the residence to go for a walk at approx. 12:00 PM on Sunday, 12-12, and she has not seen or heard from her since.

Missing adult: Emily Spoon - W/F - Age 19
Last seen wearing a floral print shirt, blue jeans, black boots and coat.
