there is really only one question I feel that we MUST know the answer to at this point:

Which "word of the day" calendar had the word THWART on it recently, JB's or CM's?

Here is the map I used : 522 Simpson Rd, Kissimmee, FL 34744 to 425 N Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32801 - Google Maps
Love the map! But - wasn't the deadline NOON?

Wonder if the clerks office logs all incoming calls -- would be fun to know what time they called and asked - or if they did -- geez, who did the guy talk to.
Sorry - but why would he not have told judge this when asked - not that that would have mattered but this is just a fabricated excuse not worthy of third grade. IMHO, etc

Yup - Quite correct - CM went from "I don't know" to $%^&*( traffic caused all the problems. That took you five days CM? Or did Jose just ask you yesterday for a teensy loan for $580.00 plus change?

IMO, he is taking, IMO, the term 'subject matter' to mean what subject that expert is testifying on, for example, (and I'm laughing again) the dna expert is testifying about dna, the forensic botanist will testify about botany, etc. etc.

Yeah, Baez, the State filed a motion and got a court order so you would spell THAT out for them. Jeez.

Oh I think "thwart" is definitely a CM word - kind of an old fashioned stuffy word isn't it? JB uses words like "sexy and juicy".

Now don't quote me but my guess it is JB's calendar called:
One, Two add a few -- how to expand your vocabulary in 365 days from words you already know.

Jan 6th entry: Twat..................... add a few word: ThWArT

You shouldn't be embarrassed JB and company SHOULD be.
Thanks, JSR. You're right, I can sleep well.

.....for me, both CM & JB go beyond the old "they give lawyers a bad name" cliche. Most of all, I hate they have the public arena for a stage. It really ticks me off.

Still lmao at the traffic excuse. I'm surprised they didn't go with..
"but we blew out two front tires on the way to the court house, and then cheny had a mini-stroke, then after hitting a dead squirrel that jumped in front of us, we ran out of gas. We did everything required of the courts and jose pooped in his potty for the first time!!"

My God...am I in a dream?

Sorry World ... I'm stealing your line ...

you just can't make this up!!!!!!!

This case is truly a nightmare. And not just because a innocent little two year old girl was murdered.

This case can't possibly get any more bizarre.

I meant to say, "IMO, he is WILFULLY taking the term..." but this is cracking me up so much I forgot my word of the day, which is actually my word of the week; I got it from some sanction motion I read last week.

While still meditating and w/o having read the entire motion, I hear HHJP's voice ringing in my ears .....

Something about civil contempt and a $500 per day fine...

I found it interesting that only "some pages" were included as attachemnts, so looked up the link to JA's 12/1 motion for clarification/to compel compliance with order for additional discovery. (I wanted to re-read those snarky emails from Baez, that JA so nicely attached to his motion)
