SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. – TBI agents served a search warrant at the home of a missing Shelbyville teacher's ex-husband over the weekend.
24-year-old Shelley Mook has been missing since last Monday since she dropped off her daughter at her ex-husband's home.

I wonder if her 6 year old daughter has provided any info. LE probably didn't talk to her until 2 or 3 days after Shelley had gone missing but maybe she remembered that mommy and daddy had a fight or that dad left her alone at some point, or something like that.

A lot of info at this link:

http://www.t-g.com/story/1708841.html

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agents obtained a search warrant and brought a mobile crime lab to the Old Nashville Dirt Road home of her ex-husband, TM, on Friday night, Sheriff Randall Boyce said.

TM is "cooperating some" with the investigation, in which Shelbyville police and the Bedford and

Also says that TM has moved out of his home and that the daughter is being taken care of by family. And TM has a history of domestic violence issues. He was charged after he tried to run Shelley's car off the road and police were called to their house when they lived together. After Shelley moved out, there were two incidences of vandalism at her new residence and during one of those times a neighbor saw TM nearby and suspected he was responsible for the vandalism.

The article also does a nice job portraying what a great person Shelley is and how the vigil turnout shows her effect on the community.

Per facebook page, Nancy Grace will be covering Shelly's story tonight.
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Shelle...95150477172504

Thanks Chili Fries, more details are being released in the media. I'm just heartsick at the potential loss of another woman due to DV. I realize we don't know this for certain, but most of the info I have seen thus far is pointing that way. That beautiful child may have lost the most precious thing in life, her Mommy. It's preventable, but we see it over and over. If TM isn't responsible, whatever happened to Shelly does not bode well. She would have never left her child, not willingly.

On NG now...

There is zero hope this poor woman is alive...sorry to say. She would not burn her car and vanish...how sickening, what is wrong with people??? And how do so many good decent people end up with people capable of such horror?

They need to look at her ex husband ASAP!! He will not let Shelley's mom see her. Just talking about it on Nancy Grace. This poor woman!! I feel so horrible for her! She said that her name was on the list to pick up the little girl at school etc(her daughter had allowed it) and now that the ex-husband has her he's not letting her see her at all.

Her mom could barely talk she was so upset...just like Paige Johnson's mom two nights ago. I feel so sorry for both of them.

It seems apparent where this investigation is going to end. Hopefully Shelley will be found and given a proper burial. So heartbreaking for her family and especially her little daughter. MOO

You can see it in the pictures, Shelley is a great mom with so much love for her daughter...Why do these nice women get into relationships/marriages with monsters?

A good majority of the time when women or men are in a relationship, they have no clue of the underlying "demons" within their partners as they keep this hidden during the "honeymoon" year(s) of the relationship/marriage.

It's so heartbreaking. And, this is a hard thing to say, but the landscape of Tennessee is so lush and everything is growing back now for spring. It is a good possibility that she will never be found. I pray that she will...

You are so right. And as long as the woman stays in the relationship the charade continues; however, once she wants to end the relationship their true character comes out. "If you're not going to be with me, you won't be with anyone". MOO

Nothing new on Shelly yet. The links below are about the efforts of her students and staff at school. Clearly Shelly was loved by all.

The ex trying to keep Shelly's daughter from her Grandma speaks volumes to me. Just as many of you have said, this is classic DV behavior on his part-he is in control. I wonder if some of that is also due to the fact he doesn't want anyone to talk to her. No questions about the day Mommy dropped her off.

It's heartbreaking to hear her mother talking about not being able to see Shelly's child. Though I understand the legality behind it, it still makes me very scared that her daughter is in the care of the person who last saw Shelly and is known to have abused her in the past. Someone who is volatile enough to possibly kill Shelly is a ticking time bomb and should not be left alone with a child.

I just pray they are able to find something that will lead to where Shelley is. Maybe the perp drove her car to some field, or there will be something in or on the vehicle that can yield some type of clues, even as badly burned as the vehicle is. MOO
