A Fort Mill mother of two hasn’t been seen since last week, police said.

Family members have made “numerous attempts” to contact Margaret Ann Debellotte of Sentinal Way, but haven’t been able to make contact with the 40-year-old since late last week, according to a report from the Fort Mill Police Department.

“She is a missing person,” Fort Mill’s Capt. Bryan Zachary said.

She drops kid off at ex's leaves and has'nt been heard from. He makes the missing person report 2 days later, after he goes to her place and uses a key she had given him.(he says) This would be sunday, the same day car was left at the fast food place. And when he says he has something to say to her, he says "come home" "your kids are worried & miss you." he also says" she might be a danger to herself but not others." or something like that.

Ok they are ex',but I'm a little miffed that he does'nt say "we love you".No love lost it seems to me.

I pray she's safe and sound. She has such a great smile.

ITA Toby. Not sure if i'm just over critical because of how many times an ex has reported someone missing to find out that they committed a murder, or if its because of how strange his wording is...but...i would say start looking there

also, the comment is gone now, but this morning when I first read the report of the woman missing and the car being found in Charlotte, there was a comment that said start with the ex husband. I really want to know what friends and family say about the relationship between the ex and Margaret.

She lives on Sentinel Way, Fort Mill, SC.

On Fri., March 4, per her ex husband, Antonio Torres, she left for an interview in Charlotte, NC.
This is a distance of 18 miles per google map.
Per ex husband, Margaret works for a lawyer’s
office.

She was last seen at a daycare when she dropped
off her 11 yr old son.
Other reports say was last seen when she dropped off the 11 yr old son with her ex husband.
No times noted.

Her ex husband is Antonio Torres, Rock Hill, SC.
Sun. March 6, her ex husband reported her missing,
from Margaret’s apartment.

Wed. March 9, 2011, car found by her 23 yr old son.
It was at a Charlotte, NC Steak n Shake parking lot, located on South Boulevard in Charlotte, NC.
Employees at the restaurant told police that the car had been there since Sunday. Police say there are no immediate signs of foul play.

This sentence from earliest reports concerns me:
Police say Debellotte-Torres may be a danger to herself, but not to the public.

Margaret was not a stranger there.

What do security cameras show at the Steak n Shake restaurant? What does the 11 yr old son say? What was the last cell phone ping? Where was it?

From what I can tell FM police haven't released ANYTHING

And the whole she may be a danger to herself but not the public, is that based on something said by the ex, her child, friends, or what?? I mean, things are just seeming fishy as crazy
