MO - Jefferson County authorities ID body in cold case
But Jefferson County Sheriff Oliver "Glenn" Boyer said advances in DNA research allowed positive ID of the body as that of [Cynthia] Horan, a St. Louis woman who was reported missing in 1985.<snipped>

From the above link. The remains were found in 1988. Glad to see some of these cold UID cases solved so many years later. Thanks for posting this Kimster!

Yeah, you are right. Maybe they should change that to MO. The IL link was the girl Julie Adams who is not this victim.
Sure hope they can resolve this mystery.

Report today says that a suspect, Jimmie Lee Mills who is serving time at a Federal prison in Leavenworth KS for a weapons charge may be responsible for both Horan and Adams disappearance.
