Circumstances: Dante and Ta'Vyion were last seen on the afternoon of June 6, 2011. They may be in the company of a black adult female. They may be travelling in a 2004 gold Ford Explorer with Virginia license plates MISPOOH. Dante was last seen wearing a white-collared striped shirt, black jeans and white sneakers. He has scar on his eyebrow and a pierced left ear. Ta'Vyion was last seen wearing a blue shirt, black jeans, and black sneakers. They may be travelling to Greensboro, North Carolina.

Two children possibly abducted in Newport News

Police in Newport News are investigating a possible abduction that took place Sunday afternoon.

According to a police spokesperson, the possible abduction took place at the Shell Station convenience store on Warwick Blvd around 12:30 p.m.

The clerk at the store told officers that a woman came in and bought a pack of cigarettes. She then asked if she could use the phone to call someone for a ride to North Carolina.

The clerk says that she told the woman to watch her two children until she got off work and then she would drive her to North Carolina. She then gave the stranger her car keys and said she could take the kids to the park.

The stranger took the car and was last seen driving south bound on Warwick Blvd.

Newport News police searching for 2 missing boys

Police are investigating a possible abduction Sunday afternoon of two children from a convenience store in the 9000 block of Warwick Blvd.

The woman was described as a black female with an Afro hairstyle and wearing a hat, black shoes, a black, long-sleeved shirt and possibly jeans.

The missing vehicle is a gold Ford Explorer with Virginia license plate, “MISPOOH.”
