Police say a serial killer could be lurking south of the border
Yuma, AZ-In less than three years, four women have been found mutilated south of the border.
All of them had similar characteristics.
"All of the women were of robust complexion, they were all between 30 to 40 years old and all off them worked as sex workers in the downtown area," said Marco Vinizio Blanco, spokesman for Baja California's State Attorney General's Office.
Authorities believe it's the work of a serial killer.
"We strongly believe our theory that it's a single person familiar with knives, someone who works with animals and has the skill of a butcher," Blanco said.
The first victim was identified as 42-year-old Maria Dolores Nuno.
