Thanks for the additional links. I heard about this case on Tues. Wasn't much information out there. Its very close to where I live. I really hope that everything turns out to be o.k.
I have gotten so jaded that as soon as I heard the grandmother (exboyfriends mom) say that they had been in a custody battle for more than a year, that dad was upset because the children and dad had been sitting in the car for over an hour waiting for her 'and it was hot'....welll, it just didn't sit right with me. No compassion whatsoever imho.
Hopefully, they will find her alive and well and the sooner the better. As always there is not a single person who says she would up and leave her two little boys on a whim.

WBTV News in Charlotte, NC has announced that the dismembered body of Laura Jean Akerson has been located and identified in Tx. They stated that she was probably killed in NC and taken to Texas. A suspect is in custody.
My prayers go out to her children, parents, family, and friends.

This is alarming pattern of kiling mothers of children by husbands or fathers of the kids. It would seem this might be higher than national average. I wonder why.

I said this awhile back, this area certainly seems to have it's share of dead, young mothers IMO. We haven't even finished the Jason Young trial, not begun Raven Abora, and now there is another one in line.
