Caylee I'm thinking of you tonight the night before what should be your 6th birthday. Although I'm heartbroken for you that you didn't get the justice that you deserve and that your murderer is out about and enjoying her life to the fullest I feel peace that you're in the arms of God and the angels up above.
As always I think of you when I hear this song.

Happy Heavenly Birthday Sweet Caylee! I just read a book called "Heaven is For Real" and it provides glimpses of Jesus and Heaven from the perspective of a 4 year old child. Truly amazing book and I highly recommend it to anyone who believes in Eternity and is struggling with a loss. IMO Caylee is at peace. She knows of no sorrow, pain or want. It's those of us who have become so emotionally invested in her story that are hurting. May we all find peace as well

I am remembering your birthday with both happiness that you were here and tears that your life was taken so early and traumatically. How can one heart feel such overwhelming gratitude and grief at the same time?
God has blessed us through you to remind us that it is our responsibility to look after all of the innocents.
I believe your birthday means more to us that remain here on earth than it does to you. Your real celebration began when you first glimpsed the Face of God.

Right about now you should be breathing deeply tucked peacefully in a big girl bed with your favorite blanket, stuffed animal or dolly surrounded by all the birthday goodies you've been playing with. You would have tried on the brand new school outfits or organized school supplies anxious for the first grade you would be starting in a couple weeks. Would you still treasure Mama as you had? You were such a little character. I bet you would sing as you took your baths or ate breakfast.
As much as I would like to say; "you are in a better place" or "you are safe and protected now" like so many other people seem so confident of, I just don't know and I think that is what is hardest for me.
Caylee the loss of your life is felt this night and every other and I really do hope there is something after we've left our bodies.
