41-year-old Troy Allen Hixon was last seen near the Knoxville City-County building around 1 p.m. on July 6th.

Family members say Hixon is homeless and suffers from mental issues and seizures. They say he normally calls to check in daily, but haven't had any contact since he went missing.

Hixon is 5 feet, 11 inches tall. He's a white man weighing about 150 pounds with brown hair and a mustache.

Troy Allen Hixon, age 42, of Knoxville, was discovered deceased on November 4th, 2011. He was a graduate of Karns High School and worked all his life in the culinary industry as a chef. Troy was an avid reader, music enthusiast and animal lover. He is survived by his wife; Terrie Hixon, mother and step-father; Sandi and Joseph Thompson, brother; Cody Hixon, step-siblings; Jenny Hiemenz, Katie Thompson, Douglas Thompson, Denise and Mark Hixon, mother-in-law; Barbara Keister, sisters-in-law; Selena Ulep and family, Sandra Keister and family, brother-in-law; Mike Keister and family, aunts; Paulette Rainey and family, and Janice and Rick Vester and family, Special Friends; "Mr. Joe" and wife Betty Gross, "Smitty", and Bill Beale. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 26th, 2011 from 11:00 to 1:00 PM at Highland West Funeral Home, with Committal Service to follow at Highland West Memorial Cemetery.
