Hi Tulessa, I have been traveling for work for the past week and just got back.
I hope that you and your family will be at peace within yourselves once the verdict is read.
This has been such a horrific situation that has weighed heavily on your shoulders for so very long. It must have been so painful to have to listen to this man try to excuse away the inexcusable. I guess there was no hope for him to man up and simply say, yes I did this and I am sorry. No, he had to continue to inflict pain and put your family through three years of anguish. The time has come for him to answer for what he has done. May God have mercy on his soul, even though he showed none to your brother Alan, his wife Lisa and their children. How noble of you to wish well to his family, they are victims of this coward of a man's wrath too.

Me too. I'm nervous for Tulessa and Flossie. I can imagine how intense today has been.
I know they will get a guilty verdict, but the closing statements and then the wait must be gut wrenching.

Hoping closing argument went ok for y'all. And that the jury got the case before or after a lunch break. Will check back later!

Tulessa and Flossie - I'm going to be offline for 5 days perhaps, unless I can get a link where I'm going, so just in case, here is 5 days worth of prayers ahead of time for you here. Know that I'm thinking of you and Flossie, the family, whatshisnames family the entire time.

Now, I just saw an artical that said he was found guilty but mentally ill. But where did that post go?

Have I lost my mind? I didn't even notice who posted it, but said it was from one of the links Tulessa had provided. I'm on the hunt now. I hope I'm not crazy.

Good news...
The addition of the tag of “but with mental illness,” does not change the scope of the charge or limit the possible punishments he could receive, but rather indicates that if incarcerated, the defendant is entitled to mental health treatment. Hall can still face anything up to and including the death penalty.

He was also found guilty of four counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, but with mental illness.

Court will reconvene Friday to hear sentencing evidence. Jurors are expected to retire for sentencing Monday, so as to avoid being sequestered over the weekend.

If they started deliberations they would have to be sequestered if they hadn't decided on a sentence. Better to start fresh Monday.
PS- at least that's what I think it means.
