I was almost as afraid as you were but I do believe Caylee's massive miscarriage of justice was some weird cosmic crash - and that you would have your prayers answered.
I hope you can draw back and begin to lay some of that stress and pain down and leave it behind you - so you can truly grieve the loss of your brother and in some ways say your goodbyes to him. I lost my own darling brother to his own personal tragedy and I hope you will believe that although you will always miss him - the day will come when you will smile when you think of him or you feel him around you and feel blessed he was in your life instead of just the pain of your loss you now have.
Think how proud of you he is on this day! Peace and love to you and your family Tulessa.

Oh My God - I am such a crybaby!! I had my tears of joy for Tulessa and her family and am sitting here working just finishing up my day and I have a jazz station playing in the background...
All of a sudden I just had tears running down my face and realized I was listening to a very slow single piano playing "Glory glory hallelujah" and all I could see was Tulessa's smiling face in front of me.
It is the most beautiful uplifting version - so clean and spiritual - (maybe it's actually called the Battle Hymn of the Republic) ....that's all .....maybe it's time for me to call it a day...

You are such an amazing human being. What an inspiration. I am so happy of the outcome. Now you and yours can have peace and finally relax. Hugs to you and yours.

I am so relieved for you and your family Tulessa. You are far more compassionate about Berry's ultimate fate than I would have been, and that is humbling to me. God bless!

Both families lost a family member. Taking his life would not bring them back, but would only add another tragedy to the existing ones. His sons need him. Thank you for the kind words. I think I shall retire and have a wonderful nights sleep. Nite all. Love you all!

Love you T! Get some much needed rest, the hardest part is now over. Now it's on to spoiling and telling those beautiful babies of theirs how wonderful their parents were and how much they loved them.

They finally took her from the Jury room into the judges chambers and within an hour we had a verdict. Almost six hours! During this time, I saw some of Berry's family outside in the parking lot of the court house. I walked over and introduced myself and told them that WE, as a family had been against the DP since day one. I told them we were praying for a non DP verdict today and we would continue to pray for that until the verdict was rendered. They were very nice and sincere and thanked me. He got LWOP, when he leaves it will be in a coffin, but his children still have their dad. Thank you all for the support! I could NOT have done this without you guys!

It's absolutely amazing to me that we prayed for one juror to hold out. When the judge called her back into his chambers she was sobbing. We truly witnessed a miracle today.

I feel so much less worry about juries in general right now. it's a very serious thing to punish someone for a murder/murders and knowing this jury had to be death qualified and they took it so very seriously absolutely reassures me...it takes some sting away from YOU KNOW WHAT just because they failed so miserably doesnt mean that every jury completely sucks.
tulessa you're a rare jewel. I am so pleased your brother & sister in law got their justice.

Tulessa, Just getting back to being able to post after 5 days, but a fellow WS'er has kept me up to date. GREAT NEWS at all your prayers have been met if seems, even down to the smallest detail.
Your quote on the video ........ " I thought that's our Tulessa!" So impressive a person you are, and your entire family.
"This tragedy almost tore two families apart but it brought two families together and one bad apple don't spoil the bunch," said one of Alan Tackett's sisters.

Finally.
It should never have happened. But once it did, this is the outcome that was meant to be. It was a long, grueling journey for you. And your family shone brightly through it all. You are an inspirational testament to enduring love.
Once the evildoer has been dealt with justly, once proper retribution is imposed, the hurting and angry loved ones of the victims can finally turn their attention from the quest for justice, to the quest for healing and peace in their hearts. Freed from the struggle, you can now start to breathe a little easier, begin to let go of the fight, and grieve your loss without that distraction. Your brother will always be with you. I know he would be so proud of his fine family.
Rest and recuperate. Take care of yourself. May you and your family find peace and comfort. And may your precious Alan's memory always bring joy to your spirit.
God bless the children.
Desi
