The only article talking about Panther Hollow Bridge, that I can find, is this one
from Pittsburgh Post Gazette.
Some of the articles and info on websites are getting information mixed up a bit.

I'm from Pittsburgh and heard a local radio put out information on James hoping that someone has seen him and came to see if he had a thread here already (you guys are on top of it!  )

This case has really gotten to me. I have been following it (that's how I found this site--what a great site and thank you--)
The update on the FB page (created by Jimmy's family) has the latest update (from yesterday):
"CADAVER DOGS FOUND NOTHING. BOATS FOUND NOTHING... KEEP PRAYING!! KEEP POSTING!! COME HOME JIMMY!!!"
Please keep this case up front and current! There's still a chance they find him alive...it's not been too long yet.
Thank you again for this wonderful site. I'm glad I found it.

Was the initial comment you posted about a cell phone ping in the New Kensington area incorrect? I ask because the various media reports make claim that “The last place the cell phone that he has was used was in the city of Pittsburgh prior to it being shut off.” ( http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2011/...disappearance/)
Where did the NK connection come from? And were the initial reports of a 3am phone call false if the last time his phone was used before being shut off was between 1 & (closer to) 2am? TIA!

Do we know if local hospitals have been called/notified just in case he came into the ER without any ID on him?
I know it's a long shot as someone in the hospital probably would have recognized him by now, but just in case!

Well, it was confusing at first b/c I was told that his phone was pinging off the New Kensington cell tower, but his last phone call was made from the North Shore.
It's better explained out of this news article:
Mike Jones from the Chartiers Valley Patch posted that he "spoke to Chief Chad King and he said since his phone has been turned off, the incoming calls are pinging off that New Ken tower because it acts as a default location for phones that are going straight to voicemail. A Verizon investigator who specializes in tracking calls explained this to police a few days after his disappearance. His last phone call that night, though, was coming from the North Side."

As far as I know, hospitals throughout the state of Pennsylvania have been looked into, as well as police stations, morgues, etc.

MissAdrienne,
Jimmy's last phone call went out at 1:43 in the morning and then turned off, from the information that's coming out. Some of the news articles and reports were getting things mixed up. I was confused as well.
The cadaver dogs found nothing. River Rescue found nothing. The poor family, I feel so bad. Holding out hope and keeping the family and Jimmy in my prayers.
