I saw that picture sadly today. That is just awful to see knowing what he's done. I so much want to throw up. This case is a sick one like Shanyia's. I will say, Shanyia's hit me so hard. Sandra Cantu's also. Heck, Caylee, Haleigh, Breeann, Nevaeh, Libby's, Sylar's, Susan Powell's, Zahra especiallly and every other case I've followed. Shanyia's & why she was murdered will haunt me forever. Sick sob and mom. It was so sick and perverted that I never want to know that stuff. Same if Aliahna was murdered due to perversion. Can't cure it, you have to kill it but can't without breaking the law. So work on laws & medical treatment to combat this somehow legally. There just has to be a way to monitor this behavior & stop it for the sake of our children. I so wish it to happen. I know, silly girl.

There has been no information confirming TS received any type of government assistance. Her husband was working, presumably FT overnights, so they may not have qualified for assistance.
If she was receiving any child support, I believe the child support would go to whomever currently has guardianship over the two other children. The child support usually goes to whomever is supporting the child, so I assume it would in this case, but am not 100%. I know when an acquaintance was incarcerated for a DUI, her child support went to the childs grandmother who cared for the child during the mothers incarceration.

Why do I have the feeling, even with the newest released information, we still haven't even scratched the surface of what was going on here?
I have the sinking feeling before all is said and done we won't be saying "house of horrors", we'll be saying "houses of horrors".
I can only hope and pray at least once child will be saved from abuse as a result of this heinous crime.

She really shouldnt have qualified for any kind of assistance.
If her current husband was collecting retirement plus he was working full time?
Assistance goes according to household earnings, it doesnt matter how many kids are from how many fathers, ALL household income counts towards how many people are being provided for in that household.
Im almost sure both of his incomes would have made them ineligable for any welfare.

Thanks for the responses -thanks to you and other sleuthers. I guess I kinda knew somehow "rights" were involved.
But think about this: The damn media was I THAT HOME taking pictures of the distraught neighbor/sitter. That means a camera crew was in there. Can you imagine what would have happened if someone asked for a glass of ice water? 
If media stumbled upon it covering the story--- I wonder how that would have played out with search warrants, rights, etc...

Please help me to understand? Call me naive, but I just don't get it!!! Seems many resources and much heartache would have been spared, had someone just opened the damn freezer? It's just not adding up to me...

Guys, why on earth would they think to search the freezer? Search warrants aside, not many killers dismember their victims and shove them in the freezer, on their property, when there is a full blown missing person's case going on. They dispose of the body quickly.
LE said as much. MP allowed them in and they did a cursory search, to make sure she wasn't hiding somewhere. But once they realized foul play may have occurred, they had no reason to believe the child was in the freezer.
It wasn't until the psycho told them that they had the thought to look there. I don't blame them one bit.
And why does it matter? They did their job very well. The monster confessed, Aliahna was found and the perp is in jail, where he belongs. They did all of that in days.
Wish they could do that in Sky, Haleigh, Jhessye, Ayla, Aliayah's cases, etc. etc.

If the media stumbled on to Aliahna's body (though I can't see how that would happen as I do not see MP saying, "Sure, there's some ice in the freezer. help yourself!), the discovery would come in as evidence at trial, regardless of the fact that no search warrant was issued prior to the discovery. Search warrants are only necessary when LE is purposefully looking for evidence.

I didn't say clutching --You are right, young girls don't exactly have "developed" boobs -But I doubt in his mind it was the same thing as putting his hand on a boy's chest...I still think it's creepy.

There are circumstances where two people in a "relationship" or former relationships, can file for protective orders. They do not have to live together or share a child. I am referring to domestic violence protective orders. The victim's requirement is not that he/she lived with the abuser, or shared a child.

Formal charges handed down
FORT WAYNE – Formally charged with murdering 9-year-old Aliahna Lemmon, Michael Len Plumadore did not appear in court Friday.
But the family of the little girl did, showing up outside Allen Superior Court’s family relations division midmorning, meeting with an attorney and others in the hallways of the Courthouse.
The Indiana Department of Child Services confirmed Friday morning there is now an open assessment in connection with Aliahna’s death, and the remaining children in the home of Aliahna’s mother, Tarah Souders, have been taken into protective custody.
The Department of Child Services was not involved with the family at the time of Aliahna’s disappearance and death, said Ann Houseworth, Department of Child Services spokeswoman.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- As 39-year-old Michael Plumadore sits in his Allen County jail cell, prosecutors are hard at work building a case against him.
Plumadore's initial hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, January 4, at 8:30 a.m. in Allen County Superior Court. It's likely Magistrate Kern will preside over the initial hearing, with Judge Fran Gull or Judge John Surbeck overseeing the murder trial.
