There's a lot of emphasis on his association with the church and how they did nothing. But he had to have applied to the Medical Association in order to practice medicine. Evidently they didn't do a through background check either. Evidently the doctors who "signed off" on his orders didn't really supervise him. The church holds a lot of fault here. But the medical community holds more IMO.

Why is it that when a custodial parent fails to provide for a child it is called neglect and is a criminal matter. But when a non custodial parent fails to provide it is called failure to support and is a civil matter?
