Body found in Fitchburg was missing man
The man found dead on Tuesday in a brushy area of a backyard of a Fitchburg home is that of a man reported missing since February, authorities reported.
Harvey Sackett, 61, was reported missing by his wife on Feb. 22, after he left their Coho Street home on foot on Feb. 13.
The body was found under some pine trees in the backyard of a house in the 5700 block of Claredon Drive at about 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, according to Fitchburg police.
An autopsy performed Wednesday by the Dane County Medical Examiner's Office showed Sackett died of natural causes.
