Most of the comments in this article want to know why there were hunters in the woods at that location. It states that there are a lot of homes close by.

Discovered Skeleton Probe Remains Ongoing

So far, officials will only confirm remains found in Green Brook are male.

After hunters discovered human bones near Warrenville Road in Green Brook in January, medical examiner's office forensic investigators were tasked with trying to identify the source of the skeletal remains.

So far, the investigators have only revealed the bones are male, and as the investigation continues, no further details will be released, Somerset County Prosecutor's Office spokesman Jack Bennett said.

Investigators searching for potential matches of missing people have many resources to check, but several online sources of information on missing people list several from the area.

According to the National Missing and Unidentified Person Database cases of such missing persons range from the disappearance of 16-year-old brothers Samuel and Oscar Garcia-Calles, who were traveling to Green Brook and disappeared in January 2009, to 22-year-old Froyon Cojon-Jeronimo, of Plainfield, who disappeared Feb. 18, 2011, after leaving his home after work that night.

Other area cases include Roselle Park resident William Joseph Jamison, reported missing in March 1981; and 46-year-old Wayne Bacon, also of Plainfield, who was reported missing March 15, 2006, after his mother was unable to reach him for a month.

this one is fascinating, not far at all from me but I had not been following any of this stuff for a while. there is no hunting allowed in the area so I had this smirk on my face reading about 2 hunters tracking a wounded doe.

as for the body, I'm wondering how someone could drag a body off of Warrenville Road. it is a fairly steep hill and there is no parking allowed on it so I am having a hard time envisioning how someone could pull over to the side of the road and drag off a body. if it was done that way, then you are talking about the wee hours of the morning and you'd have to have multiple actors - one to drive the car off while one or more others dragged a body into the woods. any car pulled off to the side of the road would instantly create attention so they would only have a minute or two to get the body out of the car.

ETA: I did not realize they allowed bowhunting in the area.

looking at the location, the side street, Red Bud Lane, was created in the mid to late 90's so maybe the body was dumped that long ago during the construction period.

Ironic that just last week I drove up Warrenville Road and thought about this UID particularly as I approached the side street Red Bud Lane.

Williams's NAMPN profile is still up. I get the feeling his case did not involve homicide.
