Canada - Jodi Margaret Melsness, 41 Vancouver, BC, 22 Feb 2012
This is a Facebook message from a friend of the family. Her adult daughter went missing from Downtown Vancouver on Wednesday, Feb 22, 2012. (So far, the media on this case is minimal but there is this announcement by the Vancouver PD.)

My daughter is still missing. The family is worried sick. I just hope she turns up soon.
Vancouver Police Missing Persons investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in finding a missing Vancouver woman.
Jodi Margaret Melsness was last seen on February 22nd around 10:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of W.70th Avenue where she had been staying with a friend for a short time.
Jodi is 41 years old, white, 5’ tall and 115 lbs., with a thin build, long brown hair and blue eyes. She has an “M” tattooed on her lower back. It’s believed she may be wearing a long-ish floral skirt, a black shirt and a long black jacket.
Jodi is a frequent transit user and works in the downtown core. It appears she may have been in the Downtown Eastside on February 23rd.
If you spot Jodi, please call 9-1-1.

If anyone has seen Jodi Melsness since February 22, 2012 or spotted her in the Downtown East Side on or after February 23, 2012, please contact the Vancouver PD. Also, please post any links to any news stories. So far, one week in, no media reports have come up on any internet searches for Jodi Melsness.
