It is very hard to look at her beautiful picture. What a sweetheart. I really really hope and pray that her father has enough love in his heart to let her go somewhere safe.

Wonder why? It's been stated they think she had been dead for a couple of days, and he confessed, but they aren't releasing details of her death. I wonder if it could have been drug-related, and not a shooting, stabbing or something? OR am I thinking too simplistically and this is normal procedure? (it's been a lonnnngggg day -  )
Hoping as one LE officer suggested that Tracey didn't intend to harm Porshia, but wanted to spend a little time with her before he went to jail. You'd think there could have been a better way to accomplish that though... He'll be in there a lot longer now.

Thank Goodness. But her poor grandparents must be going out of their minds, knowing what happened to the mom. I hope he isn't just toying with them. It is a good sign that she is still alive. But he still might snap at any time. Once you have killed someone, it is easy to think you have no way out anymore.

I'm hoping that she doesn't know about her mom dying...until a loving famliy member can tell her. Hope that call was traced and LE can find them very soon.

I'm not positive, but my guess is they won't charge him until they have him in custody, and have a chance to talk to him. Plus, he did not formally confess to them... all they have so far is witness' accounts that he killed his wife, they need something more substantial than hearsay to bring charges.
IMO, this would be normal procedure. For all they know, he could kill himself so any charges at this point would be useless. And if they do catch up with him, they can arrest him on suspicion of murder and the kidnapping and go from there. I doubt that the wife's murder was by drugs, I bet anything that he either shot or stabbed her. Or he could have beat her to death. LE won't release those details until after an autopsy, and maybe not right away.

It's difficult in so many cases because you want the answers to the family dynamics, you want your questions answered as to why this happens. One wonders how this can happen? Most of the time we don't get those answers and are left with the why's? I tend to satisfy myself with thank goodness they were found and move on to the next case. This one I will probably do the same, except I will always wonder and never know how Porshia ends up in her life. I can only hope she can grow and have loving memories of her mother, forgive her father somehow and have the strength to be successful in her life.
