Tucson police have been joined by FBI agents and a large contingent of deputy U.S. Marshals as they search for a 6-year-old girl who went missing from her house.
Police say they are investigating all potential scenarios, including the possibility that Isabel got up and wandered out of the home she shares with her parents and two brothers or that she was kidnapped.

I agree. Bringing in the FBI and the US Marshalls this early makes me think that LE has some sort of evidence she didn't just wander off on her own.
The good news is Isabel's case is getting a TON of media attention all across the country. Within the past hour, it has literally been picked up by over 100 different sites. I hope this helps LE generate a lot of tips, and bring Isabel home safe.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/huff-w...-missing-girl/
The working-class neighborhood of single-family homes is sandwiched between a large shopping mall to the east and business and a Catholic school to the west.
Both parents live in the home, so police did not think a child custody dispute was involved.
"Because of the possibly existing that this child could have been abducted we're treating it as if it's that significant," Hawke said Saturday afternoon. "We don't want to be caught behind the ball by not exploring that possibility. So because of that we literally, all hands on deck, every available resource has been called."
Hawke says at least 75 law enforcement officers were involved, possibly as many as 100, as more resources continue to arrive to help in the search and investigate the disappearance

I can't see a 6-year old going out of the house at night, they are old enough to be afraid, unlike perhaps a toddler. JMO

I hope they do the right thing and treat the home as a crime scene, closing it off ASAP. Whether she was abducted or hurt inside the home, they need to preserve any evidence there may be.
I don't like it when the articles state "the child was last seen the night before".

I like it even less when LE goes in a week later, or longer, to process the home...

They closed down a whole street. I'm sure they are searching inside each home in that area. I found her mom on facebook, there's some cute pictures of Isabel. Doesn't seem to have any of her dad's pictures on there. Just the mom & kids.

Nurse, not much posted on twitter for the past hour. I have only heard one call on the scanner about her (the address). Doubt they will say much that the public can hear.

Even if she wasn't afraid...why would she go outside at that hour? Pet? Was she mad at her parents for some kind of discipline? Sleep walking?
If it was an intruder, how can we reach the young parents about the safety they need to take? So many young adults/parents don't watch the news and have no idea, imo. Send pamphlets home with the children from school? Would they still "get it"? IDK!!??? It just never stops and perps are so dang brazen anymore it makes your head spin.
Prayers they find her....soon. ie: pierced ears also

Isabel's mom is a nurse & from her fb, she appears to be a loving mom, always taking time for her children. I hope that's okay to say.

The overnight disappearance of a 6-year-old Arizona girl triggered a massive search Saturday by scores of police, FBI agents and a large contingent of deputy U.S. Marshals as officials investigated the possibility that she might have been kidnapped or just wandered off.
First-grader Isabel Mercedes Celis's parents last saw her in bed at 11 p.m. Friday, and they discovered her missing at about 8 a.m. Saturday, said Tucson police spokeswoman Sgt. Maria Hawke.
Police continued to search an area of Tucson around East Broadway Boulevard and Craycroft Road late into the afternoon using street patrols, canines, detectives and a helicopter.
