500 people turn out for search

Behind that pavillion is kind of woody. plus i believe two schools are behind there. i wonder where everyone would have parked? Thats one reason i decided not to go because of parking and had to be back in time to get my child off of bus. I hope they search really good behind there!!! moo

I dont think they have located her phone yet... I think they are just going to do an update on the investigation

(cannot find any local media that are reporting about the presser either...?)

Can they get all the info from her phone without finding the phone?
Cant they tell who she called or who she sent text's to or who called ot texed her from the carrier.

I'm not certain. What if they were able to transfer her number to another phone, would everything show back up like her phone? I think so but not certain.

They don't need the phone to get the pings... They have to get a search warrant to request that info. from the carrier...

oh.. I was also trying to find the cell tower that is behind the hospital but so many of the websites I was looking at have different data so I did not mark where the cell tower may be.

interesting that they will do a 1.7 mile grid search around the tower... is that the radius for a cell tower? (iirc that is about right)

also: her apartment is about one mile from the tower so if she was making the call from home her phone would most likely ping that tower as well (unless there is a closer one)

Nurse, i think i saw the tower before. its farther down the road toward high school! im glad they have a lot of people because its really out there. moo
