I still voted 2nd degree murder. I already knew that Zimmerman had been part of the Neighborhood Watch Program meeting that told the volunters to not involve themselves but to call 911 or the non-emergancy number and let SPD handle it from there. When the doc dump came out it proved that Zimmerman was actually a big part of that meeting/training session and most definately should have known what was expected of not only him but other Neighborhood Watch volunters as well. This along with the dispatcher advising him to not continue following Trayvon IMO makes the state's case against Zimmerman.

Guilty. He knew the rules of his Crime watcher duties and he decided to take things in his own hands. His poor judgement is the sole reason Trayvon is dead.

Guilty of murder. Why make up stories if you're innocent?

Not Guilty, The reason is the evidence backs up GZ's claim of self defense.

The newest pictures of GZ's injuries to me don't change my opinion that he murdered TM. They really don't look that bad and disprove his story that TM beat him within an inch of his life. They are consistent with someone who was in a scuffle with another individual. I also think it is possible that the broken nose could have occurred from the butt of the gun in recoil, which I think will be suggested at trial.

I voted guilty of second degree murder but am still not convinced GZ didn't make a decision to kill Trayvon M in cold blood.

I voted guilty of second degree murder.
As we all do, I have the right to change my mind as I see fit:)

Basically, I believe it was a self-fulfilling prophecy kind of situation created by George Zimmerman in order to meet his unfulfilled emotional needs.

zimmerman is guilty as charged

GUILTY AS CHARGED

too many holes in his situation that do not make a shred of good common sense -- i also feel that zimmerman and company believe that people are dumb/naive and will fall for anything (especially if said people have the same ideals/beliefs). "There's a sucker born every minute"

just imagine, according to MOM, the prosecution has only released about half of the evidence thus far and imo, everything that has been released adds up to zimmerman being 150% guilty. what has not been released yet and what i'm interested in are the following:

1)zimmerman's statements to the police
2)zimmerman's cellphone records and text messages
3)zimmerman's videotaped reenactment of the events that occurred that horrible night
4)accounts from zimmerman's family physician as to his/her interaction with zimmerman
5)zimmerman and company's explanation of NOT going to the hospital the night of the killing. also the reasoning behind NOT seeing an ENT specialist.
6)trayvon's body was found in a peculiar way -- apparently face down, hands under body, and feet facing the sidewalk. what is the explanation for this (might tie into to item #1)? what is the explanation for this if martin was on top pounding zimmerman's head into the pavement while using "MMA style" fighting techniques?
7)if trayvon made the lacerations to zimmerman's face and back of head, why is it that trayvon's nail scrapings do not contain zimmerman's DNA?
8)from the witness 911 recording, why is there a lack of scuffling sounds/commotion when the person is yelling for help?
9)the photo that was taken, i believe at the police station, of the back of zimmerman's head bothers me (amongst other things). did the EMT not clean him up properly? why is (the back of) his head still bleeding, albeit looks like dried blood?
10)demonstration of "MMA style" fighting by witness#6
11)what object(s) caused the lacerations to zimmerman's face and back of head? the concrete? trayvon martin's hands? did trayvon have a ring on his finger?
12)the Home Owners Association - were they aware of zimmerman's past criminal history? did they know that he had a permit to carry a concealed weapon?
13)what was zimmerman doing before he spotted trayvon martin? what events in, zimmerman's life, had occurred prior to the encounter (that day, week, month, etc.) ?
14)what is/was the regime/routine for zimmerman's drug usage?
15)what effect (if any) did the drugs have on zimmerman's psyche (would like to hear from family, close friends/acquaintances, co-workers)?

i will be back with more but, it's no way that zimmerman is innocent. no freaking way.

Not guilty, self defense. He did nothing wrong at all and should never have been charged. The only reason he is going to trial is because the whole thing has been politicized and made about race when it never was.

I voted 2nd degree murder, but it should be 1st degree murder because GZ knew all along that the type of bullets he had in his gun were meant to kill, causing mass destruction once they entered into a person's body. He knew before he brought the gun out of the house that it was loaded with deadly bullets. He knew that once he fired it at someone, they would die in a matter of minutes. He should have left the gun home and brought a baseball bat. He was looking for trouble with a gun loaded with deadly bullets. Why did he have that type of bullets? He did not want another one of those "a$$##%" to get away. Deadly intensions. Hollow point bullets or whatever they are called.

Guilty - 2nd degree

Zimmerman created this situation by profiling, following, confronting, then killing Trayvon.

Self defense. Martin had seven minutes to make his way 100 yards and chose not to go home. There are no witnesses to the confrontation, and no evidence that GZ continued to follow after being told he didn't need to do that. TM didn't allow George to retreat when GZ obviously wanted desperately to be let up and was yelling for help. GZ shot TM in self-defense. JMO

Not guilty, self defense,
little evidence, NO ONE actually knows who threw the first punch, conflicing stories of witnesses, overcharged would make this a innocent verdict if goes to trial.

Guilty.

George was the aggressor.

You can't be a bully and go after someone and claim you're in the right and standing your ground when you created the situation that got someone killed.

I'm still thinking on the differences between second degree and manslaughter so I haven't voted yet.
