Thanks for this -- looks like la pretty dysfunctional family, complete with the sociopath's trifecta of dominant matriarch, absence of parental affections and apparent social isolation. I suspect that this is very much a case for the modern digital age, in that the interplay of LM's various identities seems to have been staged largely in the virtual as opposed to actual world.

QUESTIONS:
1. Why would he mail the body parts to Government Offices in Ottawa?
2. Where is the clothing he wore in the killing video (still haven't watched it but I did read the description given by one of our posters here)?
3. How did this monster get through various 'agencies' and not get noticed until age 29? (I mean - the school systems, the daily places such as stores, the doctor's office, the dentist, the hair salons.......daily living!)?

Add: Where is the poor victim's head?  Did he mail it? If so, who is the recipient? I'm hoping it's not the victim's family.

I wonder if the head was thrown out and picked up by the trash collection. The suitcase only contained the torso and was not picked up.

Could be but he's so twisted, I wouldn't be surprised if he kept it as a trophy or sent it to someone perhaps another government official or LE?? RCMP? FBI?

Was the Hollywood murder ever solved? Does anyone know the name of the victim? I would like to look it up. I am thinking Luka would be more likely to kill men than women. Serial killers usually kill men if they are homosexual, straight men kill women and all usually kill within their own race. Then again Luka is bisexual.
Is there something we can call him besides Luka? It gives me the creeps just typing his name. One poster was right to refer to him as the POS. No qualms about typing that.

The video at this link has an interview with a Transvestite who dated LRM 10 years ago, for 3 weeks. At the time, LRM was a stripper named "Angel".
She says that he would repeatedly hit himself in the head while he was in the shower, and showed lots of anger and aggression.
The video also indicates that LRM spent part of his youth in Lindsay, ON.

There is no WAY this is his first murder. Not even a slight chance of that, IMO.

I haven't but I'm also wondering about some of the missing men in Canada. This weekend, I'll scour the net to see what I can find. The missing men in BC would be the first to perhaps take a look at (??) Also GTA has many missing young girls but I don't think "girls" were his target.

Oh I agree! There is NO WAY this is his first trip down this path. I'd say he began at about age 15 - 17. With humans.
Problem is - I don't recall anything like this in the news in Canada at all. The last one sort of like this guy is Jeffrey Dahlmer (sp??).

It wasn't just the Canadian Law Enforcement Agencies that overlooked warnings by the public on LRM.
OMG
If you haven't read this article yet, you should.
It will make the hair stand up on the back of your neck.
The details in this article are horrifying.

My complaint was filed as a malicious communication and the case was passed to Islington Police in North London.
I gave them all the information I had discovered in my inquiries.
After an initial response from the officer in the case I then heard nothing more about it. If the police had stopped investigating Magnotta, then I was not told.

When he was arrested, Toronto Police seized a 27-inch television, a DVD player, speakers and two cellphones, the documents reveal.
Newman was charged with four counts of personation with intent, six counts of possession of stolen property and one count each of fraud over $5,000 and sexual assault.
Those charges were all withdrawn by the Crown.
