WI - Emma Maurer (16) & Sydnie Kwiatkowski (16) - Pleasant Springs - 7-Jun-2012
TOWN OF PLEASANT SPRINGS, Wis. - Two teenagers were reported missing late Thursday afternoon near Lake Kegonsa, and the Dane County sheriff's department has not had any luck in trying to find the missing girls.
The friends left the area briefly, and when they returned, they found personal items of the two teens, but no sign of either one. Family members contacted 911 when they were unable to find the teens.

I don't think they would have left their personal belongings there esp-if they had cell phones-something is very wrong here.I hope they find them...prayer to both families!!

Their personal items were found "along a trail"?? Does this mean scattered along a trail, or... placed neatly beside where you can swim near a trail? or... what are they trying to tell us here?

Since their bodies weren't found in the water,they must have been abducted.No teen would go and leave their cellphone,shoes,and purse behind.

One of the articles said one of the girls was a strong swimmer. Does that mean the other one wasn't. I wonder if one got in trouble in the water and the other tried to help her and they both drown. Just my speculation.

I grew up not too far from this area.
Sounds like they were just out having a fun Wisconsin afternoon with friends.
How did they get to the park? Why did the other kids leave and where did they go I wonder.
I wish they would be clear in the news articles about where their items were found and in what condition.
I don't know what to think.
