depression and alcohol do not mix. for a depressed person it is a form of self-medication which only has the effect of making the underlying depression worse.
I feel for the family. I don't see a good outcome here.

I was told that "Inviting someone to be a member or to check us out is always okay" and "Using WS as a platform for starting boycotts or emailing case players, or soliciting donations, etc. is not okay but just reaching out to someone that you think may be interested in the information posted here on a particular case is okay"
So who wants to email one of his Family members to invite them to join us?

His cell phone was found at the Suny Albany campus which is directly across the street from TownePlace Suites
He also left personal papers in his car (birth certificate) not sure what else.
wallet was found at Crossgates Mall
Hasn't used his Atm card since May 28th but there's no money left in the acct. so that might be why...
He went to the Recovery Sports Bar And Grill a lot to watch sports. Now I kinda want to go there and check it out.
I really don't know what to make of this one...my first thought was he's heart broken just needs some time away...
then I thought the same thing some of you did....Deaths of Male College Students-

there seems to be a history of depression and drinking...I'm thinking this might not be the first time he's disappeared but this time it's different it's been too long since anyone has heard from him.

Here's a list of questions I see asked by those on this thread, I snipped them for brevity: (forgive my not crediting individual posters)
Cameras in a Marriott parking lot? Has the footage been checked to see who parked the car and when?
Cell phone found and checked for calls, pings...
I would like to know more about the hotel...
*Did he actually stay there?
*Did he have a reservation or was he a walk-in?
*If he did stay there did he have luggage/personal belongings with him?
*Did he actually check himself out or was it an auto check out? (bill slipped under door, key left in room)
*He was last seen by the clerk... How did he seem? Was he alone?
*Did they find his luggage (if he had any) in his room? in his truck? Or none at all?
I wonder if they took the computer to see what he was looking at!!
living off of savings and credit cards? bank account runs dry, then maxxed out on cards?
girlfriend?
Was he looking to start a restaurant with others, who are they?
Anyone in sports bar that he befriended?
Please add to this list, and correct errors...

I live close to the SUNY/Harriman Campus area and have been following this case. I'm interested to know if the police/investigators verified who was using his ATM last on 5/28. I've read online it was last used 5/28 @ a sefcu (state employees federal credit union)branch. The article states it was "more than likely" an ATM without cameras.
How does the bank not know what ATM was used? Doesn't the machine keep record?
There is a fairly large sefcu branch next to SUNY in the Patroon Creek Complex. I'd like to know if that was the Sefcu branch (as its close to the washington ave ext hotel and SUNY where the phone was found)as it is overloaded with cameras. Also, if the ATM use on the 28th was captured via security camera.. can the family advise if Jason was the one using the ATM card or if it was someone else?
May 28, 2012 was the last activity on his debit card made at a State Employees Credit Union ATM in Albany, NY more than probably at the Brueggles Bagel Shop which does not have cameras. (The other locations of the ATM's did not have footage of him attempting to use his card.) However, since there are no more funds he may not be attempting to use it anymore.

JustJosie to both Websleulths and this thread! Good info!
As soon as I hear ATM without cameras I think of people being abducted and forced to use their ATM to get money out...

Thanks Steve. This reignited old bitter feelings about how missing persons cases are handled in NY. I've volunteered years ago to find another missing person in the area.. Audrey May Herron, and that family hasn't received any new information in years. These cases need more media attention.
I'd like more facts in regards to Jayson Yarnall. Especially because I'm so close to that area. I hope his family &/or investigators decide to give out a bit more information.

Still nothing...I checked to see if I did in fact send a message and yes, I did. I did it through my facebook and went to her page and went to send message...I did not friend her...could that have made a difference? It seemed to allow me to send a message without it. I am not FB illiterate, but I do usually message people I am friending....maybe someone else may want to try another family member? Or let me know if you think I needed to send the message differently.

I am a little confused by the wording in the missing poster re: Brueggers & the ATM's. It sounds like they are saying they believe he used an ATM at Brueggers...do most Brueggers have ATM's? I have not seen that they do. Do they mean he used his Debit card to purchase food or beverage at Brueggers? The wording is very confusing.
Also would really like to know where on campus they found his cell phone...in a building or?

Police: Man reported missing in May found alive in Albany
Posted: Jul 05, 2012 9:08 PM EDT Updated: Jul 05, 2012 9:24 PM EDT
ALBANY, N.Y. -- A man who family members reported missing in the Capital Region at the end of May was found alive Thursday afternoon, Colonie Police have confirmed to NEWS10.
Lt. John Archambault said 34-year old Jason Yarnall was found on the grounds of the UAlbany campus. A call for an apparent intoxicated man walking the school's grounds prompted police to respond.
Officers found the man and took him to a local hospital for evaluation. While at the hospital he indicated that he was Jason Yarnall. Police soon verified his identity.

Oh wow. I was so surprised (in an elated way!) that he has been found. Clearly his family is very supportive and I am sure he will be getting whatever help he needs.
