Last I just saw they confirmed 14 dead, approx 50 wounded. The police say they set up a triage at a local high school, and many were taken to various hospitals.
Also, they think he saw the movie beforehand online because he released the tear gas at a point where it was being released in the movie; same for opening gun fire.

The youngest victim is three months old....I feel sick. They say it was in a little bucket like people carry, there with its parents....No words...

These poor people. Why? Disgruntled employee? Angry boyfriend? This is just senseless. This young man was either already unbalanced or something set him off.
God be with the survivors and families.

They just revised the number down to 12... they say 12 are dead now.... I imagine in the chaos the number is off....

Colorado has the death penalty; they have only executed 1 murderer since the the DP was reinstated in 1975. There are 3 men currently on death row:
This guy would certaintly be a candidate. My prayers for the families of these victims.

Oh, this just really, really, really pizzes me off so badly.  Just who does this 2as5ard think he is? Just because he is a miserable POS excuse for a person he has to kill all these young people (baby & children)???????
Here it was a summer night out at the movie, and now mass death???? WHY???
This is exactly why I believe in the death penalty.
GB the families and friends of the victims, and heartfelt prayers for the injured.

I hope that some of you who are good at finding rap sheets will look this guy up and let us know what you find!
Tennessee plates, 24 years old...could he be a student from out of state? Ex-military, maybe? He had a lot of professional type gear, but I guess you can buy that stuff online.

So, what's his beef? Does he just get a kick out of orchestrating a massacre? Want to be famous for being a mass murderer?

His address is being repeated several times on the scanner. I don't have computer access now but a sleuther could start there. "Paris command" is the set up at his house.
Praying for everyone involved. So many people are hurting right now. There are some amazing stories of heroes coming out also though.

Law enforcement sources identify the Aurora, Colorado theatre shooting gunman as James Holmes, age 24 ( born 12/13/87). Holmes had TN tags on the vehicle he was driving, and his apartment was close to the theater.

RUMOUR ALERT: Some are speculating that he has mental issues and was playing out the role of one of the characters in the movie. I didn't see the movie but the villain's name is "Bain" (?).
