The Isabella County Sheriffs Department is trying to locate a missing 24-year-old woman.

Rebekah Jane Gay was last seen at her home on M-20 near Coldwater Road in Broomfield Township around 6:50 a.m. Wednesday.

She has not been heard from by family or friends since she left her home.

The Isabella County Sheriff's Department said it is currently working on a missing person case.

On Wednesday afternoon around noon, sheriff's deputies received a call regarding Rebekah Jane Gay, 24, of Mt. Pleasant. Gay was last seen at her home on M-20 near Coldwater Road. around 6:50 a.m. Wednesday morning. Deputies said her car was found parked behind The Barn Door, a bar and restaurant on M-20 at Coldwater Road.

Authorities said Gay has not been heard from by family or friends since.

Gay is described as a white female, approximately 5'3" and weighing 118 pounds. She has curly blond hair, contrary to the attached photo, when she had straight hair, which is just past her shoulders and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue top and black pants. She has three tattoos. One is a "circle of eagle feathers" on her upper back. On one of her hips, she has a "Kiss" tattoo and on her left wrist she has a music clef with the word "Conway."

Last seen at her home @ 6:50 AM and by noon they have called police? Maybe the fact her car was found behind the bar is a big red flag for those who know her.

Need more info, was she on her way to work this morning?

Did she live alone? Maybe she went to the bar, met a guy, went home with him and??...A number of possibilities exist after that.

Edit: Misread the story.....my theory is wrong.

This sure was a fast response. i wonder if she missed work or an important appointment for her to be reported missing so quickly.
