Correa sentenced to maximum of 40 years in prison on murder charge

Oberg’s body was found in July 2012, months after he allegedly was killed on an unseasonably warm day in January of that year.

Oberg, 29, had moved to Buckhannon from Rhode Island shortly prior to his slaying.

He went missing Jan. 23, 2012, and his body was recovered July 23, 2013.

Another Upshur Countian, Luke David Stout, 24, of Buckhannon, went missing July 8, 2012, according to a State Police posting. Troopers continue to investigate, and are accepting any tips about what has happened to the 5-foot-7, 120-pound Stout at the Buckhannon detachment, which can be reached at (304) 473-4200.

Luke is mentioned because us, his family, believe the guy that had Oberg killed is possibly involved in Lukes disappearance as well. (As do law enforcement)
