Something about this story bothers me and its not the obvious.

It reminds of the "satanic panic" we had in the 80's with large groups of people being accused and convicted of large scale child molestation only to later have it come out that it didnt happen.

I have no doubt some of the accused are likely guilty but the 'fantastic' nature of it is a red flag to me.

I was in school during this time and am clueless--never really paying attention to the news back then...is this related to the
farce (for the most part anyway) of repressed memories (being
used to convict all sorts on charges of molestation)? I do remember that
going on and being proved false a few times...

It sounds like they have evidence in this case, and if so, it's
gotta be one of the sickest things I've ever heard.

messiecake, I agree with you on this one. I heard about this trial on the car radio this morning, and it didn't sound right there, either.
