CA - Dylan Cooper, 26, Los Angeles, 2 July 2013

Dylan Cooper
26 years old
White male
Shaved head
brown eyes
5 feet 9 inches
230 lbs.
Tattoos: girl on his left shoulder & arm, cross on inner right arm

Dylan was last seen at a Denny's in east Hollywood on Tuesday.
He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants and black baseball cap.
It is out of character for Dylan to be gone and not keep in touch with friends/family.

Monday night he went out drinking with friends from work and then returned home. He then left and was seen by his roommate at Denny's. Roommate went home and went to bed.

Dylan then went home again, removing his keys and wallet and left them in the apartment. His father said it looks like he was going to stay in for the night but for some reason left again. He hasn't been seen since that night.

Cooper (father of Dylan) said Dylan called his roommate after that but his call wasn't answered as his roommate was asleep. His family tried repeatedly to call his phone but it kept going to voicemail and now is off.

LAPD's Missing Persons unit at 213-996-1800 or the LAPD tipline at 1-877-LAPD-24-7 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Dang, typo in the thread title.
Dylan is 26, not 25.

I don't know about this one... sounds so convoluted - in and out of the apt so many times - all reported by roommate. Wonder what time Dylan made the call that the roommate didn't answer? Wonder if roommates phone was in the apt at the time? Hinky meter is going off.

I just hope Dylan is found safely soon!

It is kind of worded strangely. He was last seen by his rookie at Denny's. So did his roomie just happen to be there too, and see him? Or were they there together?

And after he was out drinking, then had a nice long meal at Dennys apparently, and is home and starts preparing for bed, what is it that lures him away?

I hope they have the phone records by now? I wonder who called him to come somewhere?

Does he have a car he would need to go outside and get something? And reason for him to need to go outside?

Maybe someone called him to meet up. I would think he would take his keys with though - whether he was getting something out of his car (may need car keys to open car) or to meet up with someone - he would need keys to get back in apartment unless he left it unlocked.
It just doesn't make sense to me that he came home after meal, and then left again without wallet or keys. Could it happen? of course, but it makes me question the scenario that's being told.

Just saw this on my feed.
Can anyone (not here, other than the roommate) confirm Dylan at Dennys?

East Hollywood is the part of Hollywood east of Western Avenue.[1]
East Hollywood borders Los Feliz to the north and Silver Lake, about 4 miles from Downtown Los Angeles to the east. It also borders Wilshire Center to the south, and blends into the rest of Hollywood on the west.
East Hollywood includes the smaller communities of Thai Town, Virgil Village, and Little Armenia, and Melrose Hill.

The Dylan Cooper facebook page confirms he has died.

Speculation: he fell from a roof and died.

^I^ Rest in Peace Dylan ^I^

ETA: I have found no MSM reports of him being found.
IF the rumors are true
I really hope LE are looking into this "fall from a building"...
this scenario has sounded off to me from the beginning....

No MSM reports he has been found. I did see posts on Hiiden LA saying he passed. Odd that's not being reported in the news. Hope we can learn more.

What would he be doing on a roof late at night? We need more info. Are they implying it was a suicide? Because on his FB he sounds very upbeat. He talks about [ on June 30th] being promoted in his kitchen job to the day crew. He sounded very pleased about that.

WhAts confusing is that the articles I find looking for Dylan are dated July 5th

http://www.dailynews.com/health/ci_2...nd-missing-man

http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/2013/...issing-man-26/

And a blog entry looking for him just today:
http://www.toraradical.com/2013/07/m...er-26.html?m=1

Yet the "RIP" posts on his personal FB are also dated July 5th. Seems odd. Not sure where else to look for confirmation of a death. Usually news articles will update or delete right?

Kaliste- I'm wondering the same as you. I found the same info you did. I could not find any reports of him being found. Not sure how media is notified when someone is found. I figured I will look again tomorrow.

I looked on Saturday and can't find anything other than a couple of Facebook posts stating he passed. No updates in MSM. Couldn't find an obit either.

I found this in the Pueblo, Co Cheiftan.

http://www.chieftain.com/news/obitua...r-kinser-loved

It's Dylan's obituary. Says he passed away July 3 in Los Angeles. Looks like he may have grown up in Pueblo.

Rest in Peace Dylan

I googled Dylan Cooper and found this. It is the same Dylan Cooper. He has been deceased for 3 1/2 months.

"Dylan Paul Cooper, 26, passed away unexpectedly on July 3, 2013, in Los Angeles, Calif. Dylan was born on May 29, 1987, and went to school in Pueblo West."
