Kentucky and Tennessee Activate Amber Plans For Girl Age 16


Americas Amber Alert News Center (Tomkinville KY USA) __ The state of Kentucky and the state of Tennessee issued the amber alert after the girl was apparently kidnapped by five Hispanic males on April 20.

Janet Batanzos Quijano was last seen in the City of Tomkinville in Monroe about 0800 in the vicinity of 4458 Center Point Rd.

Janet Quijano, age 16 years-old, Hispanic female. Janet was last seen wearing a red sweater with green squares and a gold necklace. Janet stands 4 feet 11 inches tall weighing 85 with black hair and black eyes. She has a scar on her right cheek

Janet was taken by five unknown Hispanics. There is no description of the suspects at this time. The vehicle they were last traveling in was a red Ford Explorer "minivan". Quijano may be with five Hispanic males in a red minivan last seen headed west on Gamaliel Road. Kentucky and Tennesse police cancelled the AMBER Alert for Janet Quijano after she was found in Vernon, Texas on April 21, 2005. Officials say Janet, herself, called the FBI.
