Babysitter Accused of Taking Baby
She says the whole incident has been blown out of proportion. Brandy Bowman, the babysitter at the center of a missing infant case in Pulaski County, says she always intended to bring the baby back to Somerset.
She says she was shocked at the reception she got Tuesday when she returned the baby to her mother. A dramatic reunion that was caught on tape by 27 NEWSFIRST. Bowman said car trouble and phone trouble didn't allow her to contact the little girl's family.
Authorities are now looking into claims made by Bowman's ex-husband.

Why is it that when a custodial parent fails to provide for a child it is called neglect and is a criminal matter. But when a non custodial parent fails to provide it is called failure to support and is a civil matter?
