Related to This case but not this website

I was curious if any one that visits both here and the courttv.com tell me why I cannot register a new account. Are they currently filled with all the ppl they can handle or what?

I was gonna register but it comes up with an error 'Adminstrator has disabled' or something like that.

Once I know the answer this thread can come down or be deleted.

Geez, I don't know, Sue. Have you tried contacting the monitor about it?

I dunno what was different about tonight and yesterday but I was able to register.

They disabled registration for a period of time is all that means. They might have been doing maintenance.

Hey, Cami, I am not getting emails from CTV to tell me someone has replied to my post. Have they stopped doing that?

Goody, I was weeding out my inbox and saw several alerts from Courttv letting me know someone had answered my posts. This was in July when we filled up nearly 100 pages of posts. So it wasn't a year ago

Are you sure? Because I haven't had any alerts at all from them this year. I even went back and plugged my email addy in again to try to fix it and still no alerts. Maybe you should ask the fearless leader over there. She doesn't answer me. I have no celeb, I guess. LOL! (Well, she did answer me once about the Darlie thread. She didn't know what I was talking about. )

I know I saw some alerts from Courttv from July. Maybe they were PM alerts though.

I don't know if they have or not, I disabled that feature a long time ago.

Go into your User Control Panel and choose Edit Options. Scroll down that list to "message and notifications" one of the items is "email notification by default" and make sure it is enabled to yes. If it is and you still aren't getting any notifications, then they must have. Those moderators have never answered me when I have emailed them. And yes they do close the boards for holiday weekends. They set up "holiday boards" instead. Weird.

I think it is weird, too.

O, the posters there tell me they have stopped the email system. They said CTV monitors said the emails crashed their site. Never heard of that before but I am no expert.

BTW, does anyone here know a Maxi? I was at Purgatory the other day briefly and read that someone named Maxi, who used to be a monitor here, died recently of cancer. Just thought you all might want to know.
