Found Deceased WA - Blanche and Russell Warren, Port Angeles, 1929

Couple disappears in 1929. Lots of speculation, but little proof.

A district Ranger looked into the evidence, got a lot of people involved, and DNA finally confirmed their findings in 2005!

It just goes to show how important it is to identify the remains. After 75 years, this family was still anxious.
It also illustrates that there is always room for hope.
I would have thought that the remains would have been buried by silt, or grown over by vegetation by now. But the dive team still somehow managed to find them. Kudos to that team.

What an interesting story! I hope they can find Blanche's remains to make it all complete. This does give hope to all the other very old, frozen cases out there.
